even if we win, dwight is guaranteed to get his mauer tech

Adding Malloy because of how Callahan screwed up game 7 is a nice touch though, bravo

Well.... that ref lineup is about as bad as it gets, so I guess things can only look up from here. Right?

    Sigh.

FTs Chicago 27-30, Houston 3-5, Ref? Ed Malloy

FTs Memphis 14-17, Houston 5-5, Ref? Ken Mauer

And then there's Tony Brothers, who i don't think anyone on any team likes

It's a horrible lineup, but the Rockets did win handily in Game 7 vs the Clippers with Mauer and Brothers reffing. I still maintain that the refs have not really been a negative factor in any Rockets game thus far this postseason aside from Game 2 at Golden State where they blew 2 crucial calls in the 4th. And the usual suspects like Mauer, Brothers, or either Crawford were nowhere to be found that night.

Is it me or has anyone else become a fan of Joey C this postseason? I honestly feel good everytime he's been out there.

The latter part of the first half of game 1 was the worst, the refs can't really contribute much when you're losing by 30 though, haha. Also that game 7, Callahan made a lot of calls when he wasn't the best positioned ref for the call.

Harden also got some bailout calls that sent him to the line in Game 7. That was not a poorly officiated game for the Rockets by any stretch.

I'm honestly not sweating the refs. The Warriors will get some home cooking at Oracle, but that's with any officiating crew. The key for the Rockets is to take care of their own business and not let the refs or the dirty play of Golden State take them out of their game.

Joey gives Harden his calls lol. And for awhile, he's had the reputation as the guy they send in to extend a series -- so I'm always glad to see him if we're down.

May Joey Crawford pulls for the teams that everyone hates since everyone hates him too. Seems like the Rockets have become the villains of the NBA and I don't know why, not like we are the Heat that just pulled 3 ultra superstars together to dominate the league.

Mauer and Brothers swallow their whistles like crazy. Seemed like Callahan made almost every call in game 7

If they swallow their whistles for Harden, we can only hope they swallow their whistles for Dwight. I'm thinking he either gets two quick fouls and/or picks up a dumb 'T' sometime during the game.

Gotta play with poise, make shots, and play good D. It is us versus them, gotta get it done!

is it just me or anyone else see us winning game 5 only to lose game 6 because dwight will be whistled another technical and gets suspended?

Game 6 is in H-town ... no way, Red Nation will let them lose even without D12. Just saying ...

Here's hoping those 3 refs bet on Houston to win tonight.
