    Akeem Bostick vs. Kane County: 5 IP, 3 H, 2 ER (both coming on a 2-run homer), 7 K

He now has a 14-1 K-BB ratio this season.

    Hooks leading 2-0.

Feliz was greeted rather rudely by Raul Adalberto Mondesi, who homered off of him, but he struck out the side in his first AA inning.

Kind of crazy -- we've traded Tropeano, Cosart, and Folty in the last year, and still manage to have a guy like McCullers right behind, and Velasquez starting to turn it up in AA.

Velasquez's ERA is down to 1.40, and now has 28 Ks to 7 walks in 19 innings.

Hopefully Appel can sort himself out.

If Appel can sort himself out, Astros are going to be in a very nice place regarding pitching.

Good time to be an Astros fan.

Carlos Correa just homered in Fresno. In freak-show fashion. That's his 10th of the season.

He also did this. Plus hit tool, plus power, plus arm... superstar on the horizon.

That homer was the only hit Feliz allowed. He struck out 7 in 4 innings in his AA debut to close out a 4-1 Corpus win.

After allowing the leadoff HR, Feliz sits down 12 in a row, finishing with 7 Ks in those 4 innings.

    He look OK.

    Edit: I'm too slow.

That hit location in the top-left corner is both a single and a home run.

So between 2 levels he has a 1.073 OPS, and projected out to 162 games he is on pace for 38 HR, 151 RBI, 147 Runs, 68 SB (4 CS) and a .995 Fielding%.

He was the first overall pick, so they obviously expected him to be a superstar, but I don't even think they could have anticipated this, he looks like an absolutely prodigious talent. I always try my best to temper expectations with prospects, but it's hard with him. He just seems so damn complete, and he's still only 20.

2 guys I've been very high on. If Velasquez would stay healthy, I think he would be our top pitching prospect.
