I think as much as Smith has done he's not a keeper.... And rightfully so. The b-ball IQ and free throw shooting are beyond terrible to make up for anything Smith brings.

Don't need another star. Just need consistent shooters to round out the team.

It's time the roster is able to develop some chemistry, because only 3 players currently playing in the playoffs for us played in last years playoffs.

IMO replace Brewer with a good shooter (Mike Dunleavy hopefully). Brewer's impact would be higher in the regular season, but in the playoffs a consistent shooter would help much more.

Another shot creator on the roster is key. Look how much space Curry has to work with when he drives vs Harden. Teams are scared of GSW's shooters, but not worried about ours as much.

We need athletic defenders that can defend multiple positions.

Lawson would be an exceptional offensive fit.... Can penetrate, very good passer that doesn't turn it over, excellent at lobs and can hit the three and be a primary option when Harden rests. The problem is if you sign Lawson you better sign a very good defensive back up point guard. Lawson is very small and cannot guard shooting guards. He is also not exactly a high quality dude.

I'd rather play him at shooting guard and play Harden at point guard. Harden, Butler, Ariza, Motiejunas and Howard!

That's why no one wants to mention his name; but you really would like him on the team. It's like that girl that has said she will never go out with you so you say you don't want her. But if she changed her tune and asks you out, you'll be all over that.

Let's be real. Players say stuff. Stuff changes. Change makes you rethink stuff you say.

What's Indiana's plan? Are they tanking or what? George Hill would be perfect next to Harden. He's basically a better offensive version of Bev, and at a good price.

A good solid backup PF with a midrange game and plays smart and can board.

We don't have much $$$ this year to get a great player.

Instead of knocking on various doors, Morey should just re-think the playing style.

We have talent, little consistency, the 3 ball system is flawed. I think getting into the paint is important but also midrange game and off the ball movement and excessive passing are necessary.

We barely escaped elimination in the 2nd round, and we are struggling against the Warriors.

We have injuries but we should at least be able to do it without getting blown out so much.

Lots to think about and improve

Agreed. I think Lawson is the guy. Lowry would be great, but his shot selection is terrible, and he had a bit of a down year. Lawson is a better playmaker with a better A/TO ratio and will take a lot of pressure off Harden to create constantly.

On the other side, Lowry is a much better defender and still a solid playmaker. It's hard to know, but I think Masai will drive a harder bargain so I'd bet on Lawson as our man.

David West, David Lee, Millsap are all great players but we're going to get too frustrated seeing them waste their talents at the three point line with the way the Rockets play now.

With this roster and this style of play I say resign Josh Smith, Beverly, and Aaron Brooks. If he doesn't mind coming off the bench, Khris Middleton would be a great addition.

Atlanta may look to make some changes.

Millsap and Schroeder. Do it Murray

Vivek, Divac, & George will trade the 7th pick + whatever for Lawson.

Millsap is an unrestricted FA. No way ATL trades Schroeder.
