One of the best comments of the thread. OF COURSE there's more to it than the media has stated. The media has a bias and seeks to rile people up for viewers -- which translates to $$$ for them.

    The jury had more facts.

I would be a moron if I indulged in a BS debate over how much a bullet travelling through a windshield would hurt someone... Bobby isn't even buying that nonsens.

If the best you can do is argue semantics about something that is essentially a colloquialism then you should probably save the bandwidth. The specific differences between a clip and a magazine is irrelevant for the sake of this conversation.....but you knew that and were just making a sad attempt to troll as per usual.

If the debate were with me, yes I would make you look like a moron. Although you do that on your own quite often because you aren't that bright.

You might make someone feel threatened someday. I guess you might have 200 coming at ya!

Over the dumb azz talking point of bullets going through a windshield you certainly would. You would pull me down to your level of idiocy and dominate me with pure skill.

I'm bright enough not to buy your bullets going through a windshield theory as an excuse for the excessive actions that were used... Especially considering the fact that the officer in question fired those shots through the windshield when the suspects were no longer a threat (according to the article). So of what use is your meaningless banter of bullets going through a windshield...

I'm just stating facts. The opinion I concluded from these facts is that cops should not have guns. So if you think my facts were to excuse the actions you have once again proven your lack of intelligence. This isn't surprising as you are a moron.

So cops chasing violent criminals (that is, people with a violent criminal history that are currently committing a felony) on a 100+ mph chase during which they think they are receiving fire should not use deadly force? Why exactly is that?

Deadly force is one thing, one officer unloading 49 rounds, which requires him to reload twice, at close range is another.

Except there was no jury. Shows how much you've looked into this case. Brelo opted for a judge trial.

That makes sense, it sounds like he got off on a technicality that a jury would be unlikely to buy.

Deadly force is deadly force. It doesn't matter if it is 15 rounds, 49 rounds, 227 rounds, or they blow up the car with a predator drone. Dead is dead.

It actually does matter legally speaking. If you continue firing after the threat has been eliminated, it makes it manslaughter or murder because it shows the intent was to kill rather than to eliminate the threat.....especially when you re-loaded twice at close range and fired 49 times.
