I have been saying the same thing, we need a big game from C Brew in this series. One of those games where he hits a couple of 3s and gets out in transition for a dunk or two or three. Bring that energy we were used to seeing from him. We are surely going to need it.
Brewer is just not a good half court player. His value gets diminished significantly in the postseason against disciplined defenses.
why am I not surprised that now almost everyone is turning on Brewer. He had a great season and post season, and now that he is not putting up his usual numbers against the best team in the nba the fans want an upgrade at his spot? Bottom Line, he is a luxury to have. Rocket fans show some dignity and class , I am not his biggest fan but he gives his best on the court with no ego, straight basketball.
There is no denying his contribution to the team, and he has no ego problems. He had a great Game 5 against the Clippers, we couldn't have won without him. However, we need a very good performance from him in Game 5. Harden needs help.
This. If you rely on Brewer's shooting, you'll be disappointed. He has never been a consistent shooter in his entire career. He might have blow up games here and there. But you can't count on him night in and night out. His value is in providing energy, playing the passing lane on defense, leaking out on fastbreak before everybody on the floor. He is much less effective when the game slows down.
nahh. at least i hope not. that would be quite a few thousands of hours spent watching and reading about the rockets wasted even more if i wasnt a fan
His energy is actually hurting now, everything is rushed and he hasn't made a great pass or anything. It's all out of control, wild and uncoordinated.
He has not been productive in the series so far. He needs to find a way to contribute in the next game.
Brewer is going to pray to the goat god. And, by divine confusion, Brewer is going to get Michael Jordan's powers through Space Jam shenanigans. Rockets in 7 LEGGO!
