Howard pushed him first, Bogut retaliated, Howard hit him in the face. Look, let's not use revisionist history because we like our guy. IMHO, it was a flagrant 2, but that is not what was called, so I doubt he gets suspended. As for Rudy - the point was that is why you are not allowed to hit in the head, not that the hits were equal in intensity, sometimes I wonder about folks here and reading comprehension. DD
You guys don´t understand, Dwight is soft if he let´s Bogut be physical with him without getting punished for it, but if he is physical with Bogut then he is a mental midget with no control over his emotions, it´s a win win for Mr Howard.
You can't be serious. If he is suspended it is because the media and more importantly the NBA clearly wants poster child Curry and the Warriors in the finals. If I were a Warriors fan I would really really really want to wrap this up in 5. The officiating has been terrible and the Rockets have been in position to win 3 of the 4 games. The Warriors don't want to be going back into Houston for game 6 with the series 3-2.
I think most of us agree it's a flagrant 1, not 2 But my question is do you automatically get suspended if you get two total flagrant fouls during playoffs?
Howard should not be suspended! The nba needs to rescind all the bs flagrants and technicals he's gotten this postseason!!
No one is using revisionist history. Bogut is a POS dirty player and was very physical with Howard this entire series, as he is with everyone. He also was fouling Howard a second before the elbow. Rudy T is a red herring and has absolutely nothing to do with this.
BTW - ESPN's guys all said it was just like JR Smith - so, uh yeah, I am apparently not the only one...just the only Rox fan...I guess. DD
He gets away with more on the defensive end than I've EVER ever seen... its like the refs are so focused on the GS guards, that they miss EVERYTHING inside until the rebound... when a Houston player reacts to something the GS player has been doing. Its truly infuriating. I don't care how many more FTs we had tonight, Houston still deserved more.
What? Rudy is no Red Herring he is the reason the rule of a blow to the head is in place. It is a DANGEROUS play, regardless of whether it connected or not.... Ugh, never mind.....you guys can think what you want, let's see what the league rules...I hope you are all correct. DD
Bogut had dwights arm, Dwight always kind of swings his arm back to release himself when being grabbed, when Dwight arm started moving back, Bogut let go and thats why it looks as bad as it does
The guys at SC also picked the Clips to win, so be careful with your allegiances. The Dwight play was a back and forth, the JR Smith one was a cold calculated hit on an unsuspecting player. Intent is completely different.
