1 run game, dallas looked to leave a few pitches out last inning, good bullpen...personally i would've liked to turn it over to neshek at this point. But not upset with keuchel either

I hate that root sports doesn't show the pitchtrax. Really keeps fans in the dark about what's going on in the game.

Well that game left a sour taste in the mouth. One of the few games this year where the Stros should've won but let slip away. 1-10 with RISP, and give the Orioles credit for taking full advantage when they got a baserunner. Lets go out there and take tomorrow's game, hopefully Feldman can give us a good start.

THat first home run is a double in any other ballpark - and by a guy who doesn't hit many home runs. Frustrating loss but the series is still very winnable if the bats can get it going

Valbuena should not be starting against lefties... that's for sure. Guy looks lost up there against southpaws.

Hitting Valbuena third and Tucker sixth cost us this game IMO.

with a different lineup in almost every game, i'm fairly certain you would have disagreed with other lineup calls that ended up working out. Let's give the 2nd best team in the majors a little leeway

Nope, mostly just hitting the sub-.200 hitter in the 3-hole instead of putting a hot bat that's hitting over .400 against lefties there. I think Hinch has been fantastic otherwise and hopefully he learns from this.

I don't think it's a given that you shove a rookie into the 3 hole just because he has a "hot bat" over 13 career ML games and is 4 for 10 against LHP with 3 singles and 1 double (.400 is extremely misleading as you wrote it). I'm ok with his decision to keep Tucker where he did.

Valbuena probably shouldn't be up high against LHP--that's true. But I don't think anything is obvious in terms of how the lineup should look.

LOL, That's not a bad team. I guarantee you that team will be in playoffs... again (partly because they are the most stable team in a weak division, but still)

You know Minute Maid is 315 to left field right? It might well be the easiest park to yank a HR to left field

Orioles may make the playoffs and is only because one team needs to represent the american east, but not because is a good team.

    Teams in the playoffs

    1. Houston
    2. LA
    3. Detroit
    4. KC
    5. ????? NY, Boston, Toronto, Baltimore, Tampa????? All of these teams are just not good enough

Tough loss, you can't win all the late and close games.
