Also, Baltimore's on deck circle? A chalk outline. Fitting.

Pettis is just bad, he held up Tucker yesterday and Tucker went home on his own to score and today he sends Valbuena when a decent throw has him out by a mile.

Dave Clark would've held Valbuena at 2nd.

Or maybe Marisnick. He's struggling mightily.

maybe he saw the throw was off or had a good chance of being off? Couldn't see when he waved him, but a basecoach typically looks at things like the angle of the OF making the throw, his momentum, etc.

A "decent throw" didn't happen there, did it?

11 hits and only 3 runs. Unusual to say the least.

He ran as if he was bed ridden for months before standing up just before Carter hit it. Was more or less pointing out that a typical right fielder simply moves more nimbly bimbly than Young.

gotcha. Yeah he looked pretty slow on a fly ball in the 1st or 2nd too

He is not that bad against lefties, but this year he is struggling both sides with that low average

"Dallas Keuchel trying to make it stand up" - Alan Ashby.

This is a family event, Ash.

Thankfully we won't see him against lefties once Correa and Lowrie are here
