When the plurality of people claiming it's a trend can demonstrate that they've reviewed data and considered context and circumstances rather than citing individual anecdotes, historical sentiment or regurgitating memes.

 

Only a moron would assert that bias against one group and mistreatment of individuals in all other groups by the same institutions are mutually exclusive and use a circumstantially irrelevant example to demonstrate it. My S&W .40 holds 14 in a magazine, but I've heard of higher capacity magazines, particularly in 9mm.

His Glock 17 holds 17 per mag.

 

My Glock 27 ( Baby.40) holds nine in the mag plus one in the pipe. I always carry a spare mag from a Glock 22. 15 rounds

Cops shoot almost all of the bullets they have. Studies have proven this. Back in the day of revolvers, cops shot an average of 2-3 rounds. Wonder nines raised that number over 10. If you want them to shoot less, the action is clear. Don't judge them on how much they shoot if you don't agree with the action needed to reduce rounds fired.

No reasonable person would feel so threatened as to need to shoot 49 times with only 2 targets. I just don't buy it.

I wouldn't judge if he had just emptied his clip, it's the reloading twice part that makes it WAY excessive.
