yeah, but must insiders air team's dirty laundry in public when fans can't do anything about it?

it's up to the team and management to settle it.

Lol, I went through about 7 pages looking for the answer before I gave up.

I"m reading it as Dwight is soft but who knows. Dwight has the soft reputation but he's been a beast in the playoffs.

Harden doesn't strike me as even remotely soft. I think he's still got some maturing to do but he's taken a huge step forward this year.

This team can't win without either one of those guys, so I'm not going to waste time "picking sides" - assuming this is true.

As much as everyone in the league doesn't like Dwight, sometimes he alone is our entire defense.

Jerome Solomon gave it to Harden today.
3-16 shooting and the guy sneaks out early after practice to avoid the post-practice media interviews, but in doing so, also skips his post-practice shooting routine.

Basically said if he is skipping his shooting practice after a Game 3 like that, then he isn't a championship player.

Yeah I did the same. I really wish he would be clear when saying something like this. Sloppy insider scoops ftl.

Meh, Jerome Solomon is kind of a jerk. Not too surprised.

Cyberx is appreciated for the insight, but I couldn't agree more. What does this do for anyone here in the short-term.

Harden needs to grow up. Howard has always been this way. Tell us something we don't know.

Disagree. Harden is smart enough to know that game 7 vs LAC was his - to date - most important game as a Rocket.

Game 4, down 3-0, to an allegedly juggernaut GSW team is trivial by comparison.

And therein might be THE problem. Harden might feel, despite overt denials and statements to the contrary, internally like mission accomplished. This doesn't mean you don't give your 100% out there on the court. This doesn't mean you aren't beasting at a competitive level from tip-off to the final horn. But this does mean you don't care enough to stop doing the things which truly win championships for most people not named MJ. The off the court stuff. The discipline, the preparation, the mental and physical focus, etc. (Yeah, yeah, insert obligatory "before the internet" remark about a repeat champion from the 80's or some such)

Boatload of suppositions there, but it's a domino of logic which flows fairly linear IMO.

Wanna know the great thing? Winning always has and always will cure everything. Great chance to quiet the skeptics tonight.

The only chemistry that matters is on the court. Team mates can hate each other and win.

Reposted by Feigan on Twitter. Agreed with you on Solomon but facts are facts. Harden skipped his shooting practice to avoid media. And I agree with Solomon, that's immature and not championship stuff.

Especially after that complete lack of effort and heart Game 3.

And how do we know he didn't go back and shoot later? Harden could don't nothing but shoot all day yesterday for all we know

Harden avoiding media is pissing me off, much like his play in game 3. Dwight is injured and keeps playing hard, yet Mr. " MVP" is again doing whatever it takes to avoid responsibility. If there's anyone who's soft, it's Harden.

Exactly. This is one of the worst threads I've seen in the GARM lately, and that's saying something. Pathetic. 1 star is too many.

There is nothing confusing. There is one guy in one side and multiple in the other side. Therefore HE = Dwight They = the others + Harden.

Right. Yet we b**** about the censorship when it comes to the team hiding information of injuries, surgeries and trades.
What good does it do for a fan to know the real injuries afterall?
    Double standards.
At one the guy is praised when leaking info that the team keeps in the low like trade targets, on the other is judged and condemned.

well, if the coaches have lost control of the team, they better do something about it. Or Morey needs to get someone who can.

Harden has carried the team on his back the whole season. Then coaches tell him to be more aggressive, putting the onus on him more. He probably resents the roster as built that can't do anything without him. He's being passive-aggressive. He's already communicating by walking out early.

Someone needs to get him talking about his resentment and probably what losing the MVP award meant to him. Heck, he's probably wishing he's still playing with Durant. Don't they talk everyday?

Malakas, are you cyberx his representative? Stop trying so hard dude, he knows you have his back and you feel better than others. You want a pat on the back or something, a hug, an award?

I hope he doesn't feel this way. Why would you play to win a championship, make it this far and then feel content with losing to the team who's best player edged you out in the MVP race. If he really feels this way, internally, then this is just pathetic. I know I wouldn't give up like that. We'll never win a championship, during his tenure, if this is his attitude. I hope you're wrong.

That's what I assumed but it would have been nice to have been clear, especially with something like this.
