ClutchFans Game Thread: Warriors @ Rockets 5/23/2015 (Western Conference Finals, Game 3)

I'm down in the lower bowl and I'm pretty sure I got told to sit down by someone behind me. I ignored it cause I wasn't sure if he said it.

 

Our weaknesses are getting exposed tonight; old PGs can't keep up with Curry, streaky role players not showing up, FTs killing us, one of those games where Harden can't carry us while waiting for others to show up...

We had to play an almost perfect game to compete with the W's and the first 2 games we almost did that, tonight way too sloppy and the W's running away like they're suppose to on a sloppy team.

Well, we did see them give their max effort in Games 1 and 2. At least they gave us that. Sometimes guys have nothing left.

Dwight got punked by a physically weak point guard. He doesn't need to be complaining of anything after this game. If anything you gotta grow some balls.

It is coach's responsibility to make players ready.

Rox players are not ready.

 

Complaining about the crowd just doesn't make sense at this point. Again, WTF are the Rox doing to deserve the crowd at this point. Their not bringing the necessary effort out there. Getting out rebounded, making silly TOs, etc. They are just playing dumb, uninspired ball right now. Like I said earlier in the thread, the Rox lack of personnel is getting exposed but they are not bringing the necessary effort to even compete.

 

Part of that is on your teammates making the open shot. James can do all the creating he can, but if his teammates can't make the shot it makes it seem that James is not impacting the game.

 

Absolutely..if these games were officiated fairly Rockets would be up 2-0!

 

Nah, they are doubling him and daring other players to hit open shots and collapsing the paint.

The first two games they were okay with single coverage, Kerr even admitted that.

They are daring other players to beat them...and guys are getting open shots but they are not hitting them.

The Rockets desperately need pure shooters that teams would be stupid for leaving open. Guys like Ariza and Brewer are hot/cold players. If they are going to play this style of ball they need knockdown dead-eye players.

Well the dreaded 3rd quarter is coming up and this is usually when the Rox tank and they are already in the tank.

Maybe they will surprise us. They do have the talent to beat this team if they play smart ball.

 

Screw McHale. How on Earth can you leave Terry in the game when he's been playing like trash. I'm literally in shock that Terry wasn't subbed out. He's not making his shots, turning the ball over, and his defense is laughable.
And what's up with Harden? It's one thing that he's missing shots, but he is so hesitant, not aggressive. I don't get it. The only one playing okay is Dwight, but then again, he alone missed 6 free throws, so that negates some of his good play.

 

I normally don't do this, but I do believe our season just ended with that halftime buzzer. If they pull it out, then why'd it ever get like this begin with? A team this capricious can't win against a steady team. So depressing.
