Apparently MLB told Lance that he can't wear his batman cleats anymore. No corporate logos.

Yeah, that's tricky. Other school of thought is that the pitcher is desperate for a quick strike and might groove one thinking you'll take. It was a good pitch to hit, Marwin just didn't.

Villar... why do you hate us? Is it that hard to occasionally get the fundamentals down?

Remember, remember, the second game as a member (of the AL). I'll take that not perfect game from Yu as a permanent "good Marwin thing"

Marwin as a spot starter every 10-15 games? Ok.
Marwin as the emergency defensive replacement late in the innings? Better
Marwin no longer starting and making room for Correa? Priceless.
Bonus: Villar gets shipped out to the Angels in exchange for a prospect. Dreaming

I think Marwin has his place on this team. I agree that he is a spot starter and a decent defensive backup, but I also am okay with him starting at this point with Correa not yet up and Lowrie injured. Villar, on the other hand, just makes me roll my eyes. Dude just doesn't have the mental capacity to play everyday or even come in as a replacement. His bonehead plays cost us.

Lance is pitching a nice game but wow are his reflexes slow off the basepad. Should have been an out a run ago. =/

Man McCullers stuff is amazing , he truly has a floor of a lights out reliver and is looking quite good as a starter. That breaking ball is sickening.
