Yao has always dominated Orlando Dwight if you care to re-watch the games....one of the matchups Houston fans were eager to watch because of that

He played the best against Howard. Offensively. Defensively Howard has mediocre games against Yao.

If we had an Orlando McGrady.. s*** would have been CRAZY. Orlando McGrady was un-****ing-stoppable. We would have been an insane team.

Tmac was one heck of a facilitator and Harden is likely better at that....

but there is no doubt that Tmac can score in more ways than Harden.

    2x Scoring champ

One on one not even close because there are no officiating

Then you have probably Memphis version of Battier who could average around 13 ppg

Pacers or Bulls version young Artest....it is practically over before it has begun

well that depends really. If its the harden now i'll give the slight edge to Tmac and Yao. Now if its prime harden reaching his full potential with a healthy prime Dwight then no contest.

DH was dpoy caliber , but Yao always dominated him. Yao size and offensive skills were just to much. If we would of stayed healthy there's no doubt we would of gone on to the finals and destroyed the magic just like In 95'.

The difference in this matchup is that Yao could shoot that 8 foot jumper. Dwight wishes he could hit that shot. Yao was also very good defensively, but not as good as prime Howard (not many have been).

Of course Howard was a better defender when playing the other 28 teams...

Healthy Yao... not even close... That is called 'Nightmare matchup' for him.

It responded as if I disagreed. Yao would/did get the better of Howard. Yao was just too offensively skilled.

If you pair up Yao with Artest.... Artest would steal the ball out of Dwight's hand on possessions

Dwight would be frustrated and likely in foul trouble

The 2009 team was the best Rockets team since 1994. No doubt they would have won the championship had Yao and Mutumbo not both gone down and T-Mac quit on the season.

09 team. Dwight has problems with bigger guys. He'll average 13&9 at best against Yao and Deke.

If it's a playoff series, the team with McGrady loses.

One team made the WCF, obvious choice.

    Dwight >> Yao
    Harden >>> TMac

Better bench on the current squad.

Ariza is better than Battier. Loved Shane Battier as a Rocket, but I have to say Trevor is significantly better than Battier on the court.

Orlando Dwight used to literally foul out trying to guard Yao.

And Yao would calmly go to the foul line and shoot 90%, including technicals.

Everyone healthy, 08-09 Team wins, and it's not even close.
