Gutted. What a comeback though, serious fight shown by our boys out there. That Tucker HR was a brilliant moment! We come back tomorrow and we use the pain from today to take them out tomorrow.
Great game despite the outcome. Astros fought and ran their starter earlier than they wanted. Tigers are good... splitting these 4 games isn't too shabby.
On the plus side everyone in the AL West lost except for th Rangers. Still have our 5.5 game lead on the halos
Intriguing, hitting the cut off man, and Preston Tucker, boy does Ashby love him some Preston Tucker.
I can't remember the last time I saw an ephus pitch, hope Simon busts it out today and someone hits it halfway to Mars.
Deckard and I were at this game: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/uDdwshL_Oxg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Lineup for tonight's game (vs RHP) 1. Jose Altuve (R) 2B 2. Luis Valbuena (L) 3B 3. George Springer (R) RF 4. Evan Gattis (R) DH 5. Preston Tucker (L) LF 6. Colby Rasmus (L) CF 7. Chris Carter (R) 1B 8. Jason Castro (L) C 9. Marwin Gonzalez (S) SS
good to see Tucker back in the lineup...we'll miss Marisnick though..hope he can get on another hot streak soon
It's too bad Gattis can't play catcher. You could take Castro and MarGo out of the lineup and add Correa and Singleton and turn this into the power lineup from hell.
I'd like to see them try it, but the impression I get from the Astros is that they haven't even considered it (and Braves fans have said he's terrible there). With how good the pitching staff is doing, probably not worth messing with the catchers in reality, but it would be fun.
I'd rather keep him healthy and fresh at DH. His triple digit RBI potential makes me hope we keep him at DH/LF.
