Right but she just learned in the previous episode that she just found out from Littlefinger of the Bolton's betrayal by marrying Sansa into their house which outraged her. We all know where Cersei's primary arch is going this season but there is still several episodes beforehand where she can put that play into motion. Although given the distance between Winterfell and KingsLanding it would probably have to happen next episode. However FrankenMountain is a plot device that can be saved and used later on, and even next season possibly. But it would just add another layer to the Winterfell showdown. There is so much built up this season to that showdown that it would be pretty lame if they hold out till next season for a conclusion. FrankenMountain's just a tool for Cersei really, and she has no better time to use him than now IMO.
Ummm... technically that's correct but Major potential spoiler FYI Spoiler Wiki the name Robert Strong
Stop what? Spoilers? There really aren't much anymore. Its pretty much all theory and speculation that you can get if you are just a show watcher. Either fans need to be allowed to discuss theory or not, but the constant book spoiler talk is non-sense. Other than a few things here and there, we are pretty much know what you know.
I guess I meant to respond to DD's comment in the first place. What was really the point of it? I hate being the guy that complains about spoilers but those kind of things are unnecessary. How are we supposed to know that book readers are on the same page as show watchers? I don't want to know what "some guy at work" says happened in the books. I don't want to derail the thread with spoiler talk. Carry on, fellas.
I didn't click the spoiler, I just don't see what a book reader's knowledge on the subject has to do with the tv show. I would just like to stop seeing spoilers in this thread. Sorry for being butthurt and reacting too quickly. Moving on. To those who took issue with the rape scene, I definitely understand. I felt grossed out, but I also saw the reasoning behind it. Though Martin has less say in where the show goes now, I trust that the show writers will continue to impress. It says a lot to me that in an admittedly "down" year, I'm still captivated as to what is going to happen next. Good things to come from this show.
There are a lot of people who watch the show that also read book spoilers but do not know all of the details of the plot. I have friends who have told me some of the future plot, such as the event in question here. The spoiler here has been foreshadowed twice in the show. It's a lot more obvious in the show than in the books from what I've read. I can see where you're coming from. Spoiler tags are irresistible. I've been conditioned to click them without really questioning what the spoiler might be. Maybe we should go the route of quadruple spoiler tagging spoilers with "Click at Your Own Peril", "What Has Been Seen Cannot Be Unseen", "I'm Serious This Time", etc.
Has the show actually stated how long it has taken Littlefinger to get from point A to B? I've never even noticed because I assume the different storylines aren't all exactly happening in real time, and that for most of these traveling parties, it has taken them weeks to get where they are going.
In the same dick-hocking vein, or in the black pirate vein? Either way, a dick vein joke must be made. I think the pirate from this episode was Mr. Eko from Lost, although I'm not sure. Still, why have 2 black pirates when there are only a few other black characters throughout the series?
I know the hound was left for dead, but can't remember him ever actually being shown dead. Or was that 100% confirmed & I just missed or forgot it? I'd like it if he made it to the party. Already too much lol. I like the story arches too, and the pot devices, because I analyze the show from an intellectual perspective.
The hound is never shown as dead but I believe the director said he completely meant it as his death scene when filming so I'd assume that's it for his character.
