I stopped being mad after their comeback against LA. It changed my outlook on the team, coach, everything Rockets related.

Only thing really bugging me is the officiating.

Not our team though, they're battling.

im not mad either. i expected rockets to make the 2nd round, now they're in the west finals all hobbled and injured. cant wait to see this team dominate next season.

and yeah i still think they can make the finals. they've shown the ability to correct their mistakes in both rounds and they even did it in this game. warriors didnt blow us out in both games with dwight not being 100%. its all in the rockets favor

I thought we were going to lose by a lot more. It was nice to come back so close.

Yes. Stephanie curry and company know they barely won at home playing 8 on 5.

Let that sink in for a moment.

The last play of the game will only make harden play that much harder.

The good news is Harden is ultra hungry in this series.

We had chances to win both games, just couldn't close it out. TC will be rocking and we will take out the next two and gain all the momentum.

Best post of the entire board. Exactly how I feel. Everything is working against this crew and they are giving it their all. Harden worked his butt off. Howard gave everything he had. The rest of the team NEVER gave up. I'm proud of this team no matter what the outcome of the series. Crazy thing is, I still believe they can win. I can't remember the last time I felt this way.

I don't feel mad at this team. But I do feel disappointed we couldn't steal a game. I am just happy to be experiencing us playing like we are one of the best teams in the league.

Great thread. Anything is possible with these Rockets. I want to focus on one game at a time and the next one is at home for the Rockets.

Where did this come from? " It sucks that Houston doesn't have the basketball home crowd that some of these other teams do. That would be a big help". If u was at the Toyota Center and said that u were asleep

In Game 1, warriors got about 4 layups due to backdoor cuts designed by their set plays, 2-3 layups based on inbounds plays. we lost by 4.

In Game 2, warriors got only 1 layup from a backdoor cut (Brewer's man of course... he has to get better), 2 layups from inbounds plays. we lost by 1.

Rockets learnt how to switch most of the plays, but have not yet to adjust to their inbounds plays.

On the other hand, Rockets have been playing the same way, high pick and roll and floppy. No matter what kind of defense you use against it, the rockets are just really good at it.

I expect Rockets to start winning the next two games as they get familiar with the sets the warriors run. Due to our constant switching, I would take a draymond green post up anyday. It also looks like dwight is still playoff dwight. Lets go rockets fans! BELIEVE!

Both Harden and Howard are breaking "The Curse" in this series. No one can say they are not playing with HEART anymore. No one can stop them on the court putting up points and collecting rebounds. Warriors are lucky DMO and Beverly are injured.

I'm not nearly as upset about being down 0-2 as I thought I'd be. We're giving this team our best punch but they are just better than us, at least they are at home. I'm numb to the media disrespect. The compliments make me happy and the I'm approaching a point where the criticism goes largely ignored. The Rockets have a lot to build on for the coming years, I just hope Morey doesn't break up this core in search of more productive pieces.
