So Green grabbing TJ's ankles, holding down Ariza (while flopping to the ground on a screen) is ok with you? Both of those plays could have taken them out of the game with a twisted ankle of knee.

That' wasn't a hard foul. The one to stop the open layup on the fast break. That was a smart foul that happens in about everyr game in the playoffs.
A hard foul is like what Mirotic did to Shumbert the clothline. And look how it went for them too. Took the air out of the game and they got eliminated.

I want to see the Rockets win but I want to see basketball. No fights and ugly stuff. If I wanted to see that I would just stick to watching european basketball and not have to wake up at 4am to watch NBA.

In today's nba that is a hard foul and a foul can be both hard and smart just like threezas. That's all I'm asking and waiting for. Curry has had over a dozen layups and hasn't even been looked at ugly. Not one tiny piece of contact. Has to change because great shooters need legs and contact can wear on the legs.

I didn't see what you described. All those guys have tricky plays, like holding, pulling, elbowing, etc, that's just the way NBA plays. But play dirty, or try intentionally to hurt someone is an entire different thing, could endanger someone's career, and get you suspended.

The reason you don't see many hard fouls on Curry is that he is a jump shooter, rarely you see him go to the hoop to score. He always try to avoid contact, that's why he doesn't shoot many FTs. I believe he probably tops all PG with the least FT attempts.

How about let's not stoop so low?

...but if we absolutely had to kill someone on the court, it would be Green. lel

No. A hard foul is to push someone on air while he's dunking and he falls on his back. To clothline to give punch in the genitals try to injure etc etc.
Besides it's hard to foul Curry to avoid an open layup because he's mostly a jumpshooter. And he's an absolutely perfect FT shooter.

You have never seen a hard foul to prevent an easy basket? Nobody said a beating or to injure a player, just a good old fashioned hard foul. That can take a player out of his rhythm. Learn some basketball.

Already said several times that's not what I'm asking for. Curry already has many many layups over both games with absolutely no contact. We've had opportunities, just didn't take them.

The only reason these plays aren't getting much attention is because no one got injured. Green played dirty by holding/grabbing ankles. It's bush league and not even street players do this kind of crap. If they did they would get a punch in their face. They should use these plays as reference when playing game 3.

You got to commit hard fouls on Curry/Thompson or anyone who goes in the paint. We need to make our fouls "count". Do you like seeing Curry dribble in like a swan into the paint putting up floaters that are uncontested? Or how about allowing Thompson to go straight in for a uncontested dunk? They need to just shove him/push him down so they know he can't do that ****. Curry is a scrawny little player and doesn't play for contact however when he does come in you got to take him out even if it costs you a flagrant foul.

These hard foul plays are EXTREMELY important. For example, the foul on Bogut's AND1 (which if fouled harder would've been 1-2 point swing depending if he makes the 2nd foul shot) should have been HARD foul by Howard instead it was a weak push off.

The sad thing i'm preaching this however we have the ultimate hard fouler coach in McHale so i'm not sure why he's not promoting this to the team.

No it is not. What you describe is a technical foul. Learn some basketball.

Steph is preening like a high school prom queen. You gotta foul her to get her strategically to get her off her game. No easy baskets.

Incorrect. Flagrant fouls are flagrant and a technical. Hard fouls are in the flow of the game and prevent easy shots. Learn some basketball.

Yes. Foul an excellent FT shooter at the three point line to get three free points when he could miss the 3. Or get the And 1. Learn some basketball.

When he goes up for a three someone needs to jump right into him on the contest

If you can't block Curry's shot just time it to where you can high-five Curry's shooting hand really hard (slap the **** out of his hands) after he releases the ball lol. Sure, there will be a couple and-1's, but by that 3rd or 4th quarter he won't make a single shot. Plus, no severe injuries, just a really sore hand.

Also, I never see the Shane Battier strategy of keeping a hand in their face on defense anymore. I think that will help a bit.
