Without Dwight, I'm just hoping it's a respectably close game. It doesn't even feel reasonable to hope for a win.

 

Again I have to ask: Exactly what have the Rockets done to engender all of this "hate" from the national media? Is it because of all those NBA titles that they've won that has everyone jealous at their success? Or is it because Rockets' players are always being featured on ESPN, CNN, NBA TV, CBS, ABC, NBC & Fox Sports where the anchors fawn all over them to the point that it makes you want to gag? Maybe it's all of those Rockets reality TV shows that irks folks to no end.

Honestly, this inferiority complex you folks have about the Rockets has got to stop. This "they hate us 'cause they ain't us" BS would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic. We FINALLY after 18 F'ing YEARS make it to the WCF and all of the red koolaid drinkers are having a collective mental breakdown. Jeez! We've only played ONE freaking game of the WCF and the GARM is virtually unreadable with all of the whining, b****ing, conspiracy theories and racist vitriol directed at GS, Curry and his little girl. Instead of celebrating the fact that a Rockets' team overcame numerous obstacles to ACTUALLY do something in the playoffs all I'm seeing is angst and referee conspiracy theories. Things were a lot better back in 1994 and even 1995 when the Rockets overcame being the 6th seed to win it all (The Heart of A Champion Rockets) because while we were hopeful for the best, we NEVER lost faith in our team and were willing to accept the whatever outcome occurred on the court.

I am pretty excited... I have been off clutch fans for 7 years now and was pretty active when I lived in houston. I am haven't been able to focus on work or anything productive in the past 2 weeks. Houston is winning tonight. I really believe we can pull an upset! Lets do this rockets!!

If the Rockets want any chance of winning tonight, they better not give Curry 13 uncontested shots again like they did in game 1. A couple of which were from the left 3pt corner which is statistically a more efficient shot than a Lebron dunk attempt. According to ESPN, Curry has hit nearly 67% of those shots this season compared to something like 97% for a Lebron dunk.

It's real simple. If Dwight can play, he needs to be our version of Tyson Chandler or DeAndre Jordan -- nothing more, nothing less.

Good post. Unfortunately the GARM's been plagued by the pitiful "woe is me" "everyone is bias/against us" belief for awhile now and will likely stay that way.

 

i am gonna do a jason terry superstition here. i just shot 100 ft and 69 went in. when my ft is over 50%, the rockets have always won. seriously.
