Not that I'm taking your post seriously, but what if Capela does play really well and suddenly Dan Fegan wants Dwight to rush back and play in Game 3 so that it doesn't jeopardize his 2016 extension? :grin:

 

im sorry you feel that way i started the following the rockets because of yao

my favorite players on the rockets are harden, capela and dmo.. thats it

i'm just not a fan of howard, i root for him to do well because he is on the rockets with harden, and i want harden to do well and win the championship, but his style of demanding postups is annoying and counterproductive to hardens game.. watching harden play this year without dwight was a joy to see, now we see harden defering and being a little passive again

 

So basically, you just don't like Dwight and take whatever position is convenient to criticize him at the time. Got it.

 

who cares what dan fegan thinks, my opinion i think capela will shine tonight if mchale gives capela starters minutes.. kid just gets it. he doesnt make dumb fouls like other rookies, and his bbiq is underrated.. i like how he can stay step for step with all-nba players like klay thompson and steph curry.. jvg loves capela too.. capela played so well in the 1st quarter and mchale benched him because dwight wanted back in the game... 5 turnovers later, the warriors tie the game

Assume Howard won't play, then Capela will be in foul trouble in the first few minutes. After that. we'll see a lot of small ball, up & down the court.

 

its not that i dont like howard, its that yao will always be special too me.. howard just feel like a rocket too me.. Harden feels like a rocket, Dmo feels like a rocket, Capela is def a rocket. Howards style of basketball is just too awkward for me too fall in love with

 

Capela doesnt pick up fouls, he is a smart defenders, he blocks shots with great anticipation like hakeem, and his rebounding instincts are up there with a young joakim noah.. capela will be fine

 

Let's be real though. Capela even if he plays well won't give the Rockets too many minutes tonight. His stamina probably isn't where it needs to be given how little playing time he received this season. Plus there's always the concern of foul trouble.

Believe me, I would laugh my ass off if Capela came in and dropped something like 18 and 13 on the Warriors and helped the Rockets pull off the upset of the season. But if they're to win tonight, it'll be because the rest of the team picked up their game, not because Capela channeled a young (H)Akeem.

So which is it? He should play through it because Yao would, like you said yesterday? Or he SHOULDN'T play through it because if he did it would only be to stop Capela from overshadowing him, like you said today?

 

Yao wouldnt have said a word, and just played, Dwight is all about me, me, me( like i said not a true rocket)

dwight is talking about not risking his career wtf... dude what are you talking about, nobody is giving you a max contract after this current contract runs out

 

I'm missing your answer here. You said today him playing through it would be selfish. You said yesterday him NOT playing through it was selfish. Which do you want him to do?

i wish dwight would have just sat game 1 when it was clear he was hurt( but after he saw how well capela played in the 1st quarter, he jumped back in the game), he wasnt honest with the training staff. if he was feeling bad, their is no need to talk about careers wen you are in the wcf.. do you agree yao would have played through a sprained knee if he was fornuate enough to get to the wcf?.. i believe he wouldnt say anything and just played..

i get the feeling that dwight sees a young lion in capela who is all about business on the court and doesnt want to be shown up. Trust me i know dwight howard types, just like the qb of the redskins, they would rather be injured and try to be hero instead of letting the healthy guy g out and contribute, if this was a regular season game im sure dwight would have sat out, because no eyes are watching.. but game 1 had the hghest tv ratings since 2012.. if the world sees capela outplaying dwight, you know for sure espn is gonna talk about it on first take

 

My question is super simple, and you still haven't answered it.
