bogut is actually a 1st generation croatian-australian, and croatians (generally speaking) think very very very highly of themselves
Well, I would do the same thing if it wasn't called, you can't blame the guy. It's not like he's freaking Karl Malone, but the Warriors do seem like the Jazz more and more. They get away with almost everything and if the referees keep calling it the way they do: do something about it. You cannot just go out like a bunch of whinos and softies. I will stop watching NBA basketball if it's obvious the referees are costing us games like in Game 1. HCA is one thing, manipulating games is another.
This is a sports team fan forum where there are fans on this forum from all over the world. Sports teams are supposed to help bring people together. Why would you say something like that? and it doesn't matter what country you go to in the world you will always find arrogant assholes.
I totally agree that it has no place here. However, you can say positive things about people from a certain country. For example, I think Argentinian players are always smart (including flopping) and always play hard with a never-die attitude.
My suggestion, if it isn't a tech, is that the next time the refs uncork an obviously bogus call against the Rocks, that the guys on the court, and everyone on the bench, "stand up" and applaud the ref involved, nodding and smiling and cheering the whole time. The sarcasm would be beautiful to watch.
Officials aren't going to do anything about it. They WANT Curry and the Warriors to make those 3's. It's their identity. Why would they take away a key play that would ruin everything about the Warriors. Rockets are just going to have to find a way to beat the Warriors while being disadvantaged.
The Warriors have become this century's version of the 90s Sonics - use a blatantly illegal gameplan knowing the refs wouldn't dare kill the game with nonstop whistleblowing.
