And I forgot about Hader who could be anywhere from 6-8 but he is definitely in there ahead of Kemp and Reed

He's never been healthy for more than a fraction of a season. Maybe this is the year it all comes together.

Had a rough couple of starts to start the year, but he's been pretty strong in his recent outings. So many of our pitching prospects are having really good starts to the year he has kinda felt lost in the shuffle.

Been said a million times but the prospect depth is insane.

Awful year for Fontana up to this point. Disappointing.

Said it the last couple of years, you can be selective and try to walk all you want but eventually as you move up you have to be able to actually hit the ball. He'll figure it out or he won't.

Awful is a little strong unless you are expecting him to be more than a utility guy. He's got a decent OBP for a utility guy. He makes a lot of contact when he swings. He gets a small amount of good contact more, and he's got a shot at some MLB time.

With a 2nd round pick I'd hope for something more than a utility guy. He's struggling but hopefully we see some progress soon.

A major leaguer with a 2nd round pick isn't bad at all. People here need to be realistic. I want stars with every pick, but I know that reality is that despite 40+ picks, maybe 5 will even reach the majors.

Go back and look at past 2nd rounds. There are only a couple of guys per year that make it to MLB as quality starters. Heck, the highest career WAR from a 2008 2nd rounder is 4.4 from Tyler Chatwood (an extreme example, but still).

It has been a long time since he got picked. To be disappointed on a small sample size in AAA that isn't that bad considering his minor league career so far. Granted, I don't value batting average as much as most peope, but not as little as most "stat" guys.

Tyler White has reached base in all but one game for Corpus this season.

    Jon Singleton vs Lefties .164/.242/.218, 29.5 K%, 9.8 BB% in 61 PA

    VS R .356/.481/.874, 12.9 K%, 19.4 BB% in 108 PA

His overall numbers are still damn good with a .282 babip, .338 iso and .434 wOBA

Sick situation. I still don't like waiting around for Carter to get hot when Singleton is hitting like this.

Seems like the "get the good pitching prospects the hell outta Lancaster" effect.

I think they are being more aggressive as the team looks to compete and need said prospects sooner rather than later.

He's on 40-man. Astros will be more aggressive with guys on 40-man as they only get three option years. 2015 is one.

They may be a little more aggressive with other prospects, but I would not use Feliz as an example of this.

Hard to say they missed on the pick yet....Chicago thought they got the better of the deal when the Twins took Mauer over Pryor.
