Here I go- Being concerned is fine but according to many in this thread, if Dwight can't go, we're hosed.
uhh. . yea. we will knock that right out. I am sure the warriors are up to losing 4 straight. I mean they did that a few times this year right?
If Dwight's out, Capela should be starter and Dorsey gets some of TJ's minutes because that guy at least goes after the boards all the time.
Yeah it is easy for me to say that's why I'm not in the nba or a superstar in it. The truth is if he wants to be a champion he gotta do what it takes unless he can't walk or move or run.
Agreed, its just crazy how every other team had key injuries and the Warriors seemed unscathed. Also, and this may be off topic, but I think the Warriors were lucky that the Thunder basically had the worst season ever. If the Thunder had everyone healthy, no way would they make it out of the West.
This is clutch city right? We can do anything we always defy the odds. Spurs weren't up to losing four straight to okc in wcf either.
And now taking a huge step back <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">RT <a href="https://twitter.com/stewardsfolly">@stewardsfolly</a> Howard says if he can play through pain and help, he will play Game 2. But won't risk career.</p>— Diamond Leung (@diamond83) <a href="https://twitter.com/diamond83/status/601131334765973504">May 20, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Dwight more than anyone on the team knows what it takes and he has shown that in all the Rockets playoff runs...
Fair point. I actually haven't thought of the Hawks situation this year (probably because I haven't really paid attention to the east). Wouldn't mind seeing them in the finals. Regardless, I'm just glad a team like the Lakers isn't getting the dumb luck the Warriors are getting.
That sounds positive to me. If it's a bruise or minor sprain it's unlikely it would jeopardize his career.
Not wanting to risk his career just tells me he's a cautious person. Nothing wrong with that, and it doesn't mean he wants it any less than anyone else. Some of y'all will be quick to judge, since it's not your career. But, I'm sure he wants to play more basketball than just this season. I think personally, I'm going to take solace in the fact that he is still available, and the Wrarriors won't gain too much confidence from this. Also, having Capela helps!!
I'm so sad that both times we won't have the chance to beat those cocky teams like Lakers in 2009 and freaking Warriors in 2015 due to big man injury...my heart is burning with anger that the evil win yet again.
He obviously doesn't know the diagnosis yet. The docs will let him know whether there's a further injury risk. He'll either have a full-on green light to play or will be inactive. We still don't know anything.
