Yes, it's Greyscale. Shireen was treated and the spread of it was stopped. The Stone Men are examples of what happens when it can't be treated. It not only infects the skin, but eventually the muscles, bones, and organs, including the brain. Many go blind. It spreads by coming into contact with it. That's why Jorah and Tyrion were trying to avoid contact with the Stone Men (whose whole body was infected).
Just watched it last night. Not sure if it's the bad college level acting, poor script or laughable choreography, but the Sand Snakes are bad.
If Ramsey is killed off in the Finale along with the horrid cast of the sand snakes I will be a happy man. But at that point will realize that I will have to wait a year or 2 before the next episode.
So far my favorite story-lines have been: Jon Snow - Excited to see what happens with the Wildlings Tyrion + Jorah - Best moments of the season so far, Short but sweet. Reek + Sansa + Ramsey - I think this is the most important Storyline of season 5. Least Favorite: Arya - WTF is going on here. Dany - only good when Jorah and Sir Barristan where there. Dorne - ugh worst part of GOTs right now.
Master assassins aren't born overnight, this one is going somewhere cool but it requires a little patience Otherwise I completely agree, Dany's plot (just like it did in the books) has come to a screeching halt. I hoped the showrunners would make major changes to spice it up, but the few changes they have made have very much been for the worse. That plot needs Tyrion bad. Everything about Dorne has been a clusterf**k. It has so much potential, but it has been comically bad. It seems like Doran Martell is due some more screen time heading forward which should help, him and his guard have been pretty solid in what little time they have had.
For Theon, he knows what Ramsey is capable of, and sees Sansa at his mercy. Even if the wedding night isn't terribly traumatic, he knows what's coming.
The whole Dorne setting has been a huge let down. Especially when considering how good the guy from last season was.
What's weird about Dorne is that the guy they cast to play Doran is a great actor. He has had like two lines and 45 seconds of air time, yet the Sand Snakes, which are apparently the stars of the Dorne storyline, are terribly cast. I hope as the storyline unfolds the Sand Snakes disappear into the background and it really becomes all about Bashir.
His character is just the exactly opposite of Oberyn unfortunatly, throw in his gout and you have a character that doesn't offer much punch, at least so far.

I just don't see where her story is going. Her trek to become a faceless worshiper doesn't seem like it will ever tie back into the main story lines. And to be honest, she is so ugly now. I cringe whenever I have to see her face... this makes me wish her scenes are minimized.
Her goal in life is to murder all those who have done her family wrong. She is training to be an assassin. You rly don't see how this could tie back to the main story?
ah, okay. I just didn't make those connections. A lot of people on her list are already dead though. I guess her one big moment will be when she (possibly) kills Cersei. So all this build up for that.
Thanks for the reassurance about Arya, she is probably my favorite character in the show. I completely agree with you about Tyrion and Dany.
WTF, there have been like 2 or 3 other rape scenes in GOT. The Drogo and Dany scene was much more graphic and it was in the 1st or 2nd episode.
