We even lost one game to the Paul-less Clippers. Losing to GS at their home court with Dwight hobbled is no shame and we can bounce back. Even though we lost the game, I am not very upset with the team at all. They made some stupid mistakes down the stretch, but overall they fought well.
The Clippers put up huge leads in every single home game they had vs us. In Game 1 we were the team that put up the huge lead. Granted we lost it because of our own stupidity (posting up Dwight and then his injury), but that should be a red flag for the Warriors.
No dumb turnovers, no easy 2nd chance points, and no weak finishes around the rim would be a nice start.
Man I am bummed. This game was here for the taking. This was ours to steal. I don't see Ariza shooting 80% from the 3 point line again next game. I don't see Klay going 33% again. But, maybe Livingston won't be a damn all star and maybe Jason Terry can figure out how to shoot the damn ball again. I mean f*** Thats the ONE reason we signed him. SHOOT open 3's. He made the 3rd most 3's in league history for christ sake. I don't know. 110-106. Gotta give the rox credit. They showed up and simply fell short. But, I fear this was our one chance on their court. now we have to win 4 out of the next 6 against the 10th best team of all time. If they give you a sliver of light YOU TAKE IT and we didn't. But, still. Proud of these guys. That Clipper series is one of the books.
what about when players like livingston just fall down and the refs call a foul on the closest rockets player to him, sending him to the line
We need to finish at the rim stronger! The media has the Harden vs Curry match up over hyped and we need to just forget that. Dwight needs to get back and destroy them. This is Dwight series to win and Harden to help. That Kangaroo, Dingo humper doesn't have anything on Dwight. Come on big fella show us 2009 Dwight. Take us to the promise land! Whether they win by 4 or 20 it is still a loss. We need to adjust in game 5 or Steve Kerr will have us by the neck.
I love this. Seriously, this was insanely lop-sided starting from when we had a 15+ point lead. Hope there is a formal complaint and repercussions... or, perhaps the miracle of fair officiating.
Refs were shameless tonight, but the Warriors are the darling boys. They're going to get favors. Gotta limit mistakes.
I feel like the goal should be Ariza holds Thompson in check, we can shut down their frontline fairly easily and let Curry get his points against Terry/Prigs. If we play great defense, we can win. But it all depends on Dwight being there to help us slow everything down.

That's the scariest thing about GSW. They look beatable. They look tired and not in sync. Then all of a sudden, 2 minutes later they're up 10. We have to always be on alert, 100%. Give them an inch and they'll take mile. This is why Dwight is so important in this series.
