Forget his stats when he son the court, forget that he doesn't know the defensive rotations yet, forget that he's skinny...all of those things will be fixed with time.

What this kid has is a tremendous feel for the game. Dwight is a better player than Clint right now, but Clint already has a better feel for when to make a pass, how to roll to the basket, etc. his instincts are tremendous.

So excited for this kids future.

He definitely has the physical tools, motor, and work ethic to be a star. He also happens to be surrounded by some great big men to tutor him. I fear he will be highly sought after in any future trade we make...

2 years or less of NBA strength and conditioning, nutrition, big man work with McHale & others, repetitive shooting, and he's an All Star or at least borderline.

Dude, I know Curry hit that shot at the end of the half -- but Capela's ability to guard out on the perimeter is remarkable.

I hope McHale keeps feeding him minutes this series. He is going to be so good for us next year as well after the experience he is getting in these playoffs and with an offseason of training.

    I love his athleticism.

Of course, I was hyped when Dmo first came on the scene, too and he hasn't been quite as good as I hoped. He's developed into a good role player, but I thought he could be more. Of course he still could be.

Credit to Morey, though, for finding these guys.

There's a lot of young Olajuwon in him. Akeem was not as raw coming in to the NBA but he wasn't much more than dunks, rebounds, and blocks in the beginning. The jumper and refinement didn't happen until much later. I can see Capela developing an offensive game and becoming a very good player in this league. Give him a few years and he'll be a starter putting up good numbers.

    This

He needs to improve his shot to be great.

He's not and will never be strong as Shaq.

You guys think everyone will be a star for some reason. If the media doesn't accept you as a star a player can never be

His perimeter defense for a rookie is just unreal.

    And he's a big man!

Good hands, no dumb fouls + 7foot + athleticism + shot blocking instincts = 1st overall pick if he went in this draft.

Capela is playing startlingly well for someone so young and inexperienced. I can't find a complaint. The kid is for real. My only complaint is that I'd like see him and Dwight on the floor at the same time to see what happens there. I feel like that's a twin towers that's an unstoppable lob and blocking machine.
