I got that from him too. I saw a lot of composure and hunger. He didn't get rattled from the mind games... He is mentally way more equipped to battle Bogut (with his holding/flopping/cheapshots) and the rest of GSW's bigs.

the rockets will take game 1 tonight because they are still in fight-mode from playing 3 straight elimination games. the warriors are in rest-mode from a week off.

i think this series goes to 7. we'll see what all that pressure does to them.

I think the Rockets best chance at the upset starts in game 5.

The line is going to make a ML bet difficult to arb live.

The "any other result" for team to win every quarter is even money. I like that the most so far.

The most pressure the Warriors have faced this post-season was when they were down 2-1 with game 4 being played in Memphis. To their credit, they came out and attacked the Grizzlies with reckless abandon. However, outside of that, they haven't faced anything anywhere close to the pressure the Rockets have faced being down 3-1, 3-2, down 19 points on the road in an elimination game. Our roster is playoff tested, full of guys who have done nothing but win at every level of basketball, and has a coach that's been through thick and thin both as a player and as a man. I fully expect us to come out with fire, passion, energy, and a desire to rip the Warriors throats out. I want Harden cooking all night. I want Howard looking to dunk Bogut into the basket every opportunity he gets. I want Ariza and Terry to be locked in on both ends of the court. I want Brewer to run Barbosa and Livingston ragged off the bench. And most importantly, I want to see 48 minutes of pure, unadulterated focus from our group. I think we get it, and I think we take game 1!

The media is really playing up Bogut. Getting to the whole against Deandre was like shoving a bowling ball through a straw. Bogut will be child's play compared to him.

Come on, man. GS is clearly the best defense. They are 5.5 pts/100 possesions better than Phoenix was. That's a massive number.

The Rockets need to cripple the pace of the game with the starters and outpace their bench by running. Barbosa can't guard Brewer.

Get Bogut and Green in foul trouble. Prevent Green from cutting to the basket. I guess allow Green space to shoot outside. Force David Lee to enter the game and take a bunch of midrange shots. Press Curry the entire game. Run an onslaught of Harden/Smith/Howard pick and rolls. Hack Bogut, but only if we are ahead. Double team off of Harrison Barnes and allow him to shoot. Make the game ugly. I think we can handle it.

I think Memphis at full strength is a better D. I'd take SA over them for better D as well. We have the pieces to make them struggle offensively. Just gotta do it.

agreed. the media is playing up anybody NOT on the houston rockets..lol

I think they need to be aggressive and get Bogut into foul trouble..he can't keep up with howard and Smith if they are pounding the boards and wearing him out

You could make an argument for SA or MEM. The difference is not that big. What you can't argue is that GS's defense is comparable to those PHX teams.

I never tried to make that argument at all. I never said PHX was as good on D or even close. I was clearly just stating the fact that both teams scored 110 ppg and the difference given up was 4 points.

Rockets gonna be viewed as villains no matter what... Morey might as well throw powder in Curry's eyes when refs not looking.

Woj tweeted today I think it was that Beverly has given up on returning this series.

Of course you tried to make that argument. You compared PHX to GS. You can't just ignore the difference in their defense by saying it's just 4 points, as if that were actually a small number or a reasonable comparison.
