I read Brewer and Josh Smith weren't with the Rockets for the first two games against the Warriors, is that true?

Granted they played in the last two but one could argue that they weren't fully integrated into the lineup yet.

I'm looking forward to a revamed Howard, fully integrated Brewer, Howard and Prigioni and hopefully a more efficient Harden. Watch out Warriors! :)

Yes, Brewer and Smith were not with the team yet in the first 2 games. The first one was only the Rockets' 7th game of the season. The 2nd one was in December, I believe. It was the night before that game in Sactown where Harden went off and led them to a win in OT(the Kings fired their coach the next day).

All I want to see is Harden break Curry's ankles with one of those deadly cross over dribbles - glass ankles resurface ;)

This just furthers how important it is for the Rockets to come out loose like they did in games 5 + 6. We are playing with house money. Nobody expects us to win, so even if we lose, who cares.

    2005 Phoenix Suns

    -62 regular season wins
-MVP that got a lot of hype throughout the year and MVP nobody predicted
-Scored 110 ppg and gave up 103 ppg during regular season
-MVP PG with a lot of good wings and forwards in Joe Johnson, Q-rich, Jason Richardson, Marion, Jim Jackson
    -Round 1 swept Memphis
    -Round 2 beat Dallas 4-2
    -Western conference finals loss 4-1

    2015 GSW
    -67 regular season wins
-Curry got the same type of hype all year as Nash 10 years ago.
-Scored 110 ppg and gave up 99 ppg during regular season
-MVP PG with a lot of good wings and forwards in Klay, Barnes, Iggy, Green, Livingston
    -Round 1 swept NO
    -Round 2 beat Memphis 4-2
    Western conference finals ???

You can't deny the similarities between the 2 teams. A lot of people were jocking those Phoenix Suns pretty hard during the regular season and predicted them to go all the way especially the way they handled the first two rounds. That was until they ran into a team that could control the pace, play strong defense and play both inside and outside. Duncan and Gino gave them all kinds of fits just like I expect Howard and Harden to do. Robert Horry was clutch and changed the game at criticism times just like J-smoove has done this far and will continue to do.

Pretty crazy to compare and contrast and we all know about the similarities from 20 years ago. Guys, it's our time again!

Interesting comparison. That 2005 Sun squad actually has inside scoring ability. Amare at his prime. But they could not defend.

Rockets just gotta limit the dumb TO,

Harden and Smith cant be forcing the pass cause GS shoots 3's on Fast breaks and the game can get ugly quick.

Also mchale gotta use the timeouts

I think the Warriors defense is overrated in my opinion. They haven't really had to stop anybody yet and the players that were supposed to get theirs against them got it.. Anthony Davis, Zbo, Conley etc.

Neither NO or Memphis have the type of firepower we possess. We have a lot of players they need to stop.

This is truly it ladies and gents. The whole world is against us. Nobody believes we will win. It's a long series, trust in these guys.

This is the time to knock off the 'best' team and the newly crowned MVP.

    Lets Fuking Go
