I took a chick Saturday to her second ever baseball game, she was bored as hell, didn't understand anything about baseball and we left before Carter's go ahead homerun...needless to say she's not a keeper

Lineup vs the A's today: All Righty Lineup

    Altuve
    Villar
    Springer
    Gattis
    Tucker
    Carter
    Gonzalez
    Castro
    Marisnick
    McCullers

I get that Valbuena and Rasmus struggle against Lefties but lots of subs in this game. Excited to see Tucker out there...wish they kept Valbuena in to see if he can hit another dinger as I don't like to see Villar & Gonzo in the lineup at the same time

Villar in the 2 spot. I think Hinch and Luhnow are putting as much pressure on him as soon as possible to see if he can respond to it and they can get some trade offers for him. There won't be room for him when Correa gets called up and Lowrie returns. He's had a nice stretch of 3 games or so, hopefully he can build off of it.

whoops..thanks for the correction. I figured he was a righty since Hinch took out Rasmus as he's wont to do against lefty pitchers. Maybe he hits them well.

I think the balls were balls, but definitely most were close. A's being patient is going to hurt as McCullers threw 21 pitches, despite only one baserunner.
