Which would be a pretty great sports city if the products served up to us over the last 50 years weren't so poor. Outside of cities where the teams have been for over a 100 years, there aren't any cities that support their teams regardless of whether they're winning or losing. Every city is like that for the most part, with just a few notable exceptions...and nearly every one of those exceptions is relative to a team that's been in a city for generations...or where there's a brand new ballpark/stadium or franchise. Outside of Cleveland, no city has been served up a bigger pile of crap than Houston, Texas from it's pro sports teams. Having said that...I think Rockets are going to win tonight.
I believe you that you absolutely have to go into each game believing that they can win and you keep believing that can win until the game ends and they either lose or win. Seriously, what kind of ****ty fan watches their team play with the expectations that their team will lose? Definitely not one I would personally want to associate with as a fellow fan. I believe we can steal a game tonight and force a Game 7 to make history. Anyone that believes otherwise can go frak themselves. Sometimes one's expectations may get brutally crushed, but hey **** happens sometimes. I was hyped up for Game 4 hoping to see the Rockets respond. They didn't and I was upset, but like hell I would give up on them. Tomorrow will always be a new day and the next game a new game. See, the difference between you and I is that while both of understand the statistical odds of success (only an idiot wouldn't for a team down 1-3), the difference is that I believe that odds are meant to be overcome and that we can do it and will continue to do so until we didn't.

I was frustrated and even reverse-jinx caveat-ed my "improvements for next season thread." And it was absolutely fair to be critical of the Rockets' lack of consistency and focus prior to game 5. And I've been completely consistent with the idea that they have enough talent to beat anyone, but just need focus. And I'm still consistently anti-McHale, even though he gets huge credit for his adjustments since game 5. I've been watching and recording Rockets games and breaking down film since before you watched basketball son. (totally blind trash talk there, lol...and I just realized after logging in to post that I have you on ignore anyways so you must have already been annoying...feel free to ignore me if you think I'm a hater).
