i voted clips in 6 on the public poll thread before the series started. i was wrong. the clips are not a better or more talented team than houston. they have 2 rotation players 35yrs old logging heavy minutes and go only 6 deep no their overall depth chart. maybe 6.5 if you count austin rivers' 2 good games. also, if they choke as carl said then that's simply part of their roster makeup.

not accepting this is like the guy who loses big on some penny stock investment but still contends the company is great, the market was just wrong this time!

He started this thread, like most, to bag on Morey. Meanwhile the Rockets have all of their assets intact and the Clips have nothing. They will barely be able to get their current team back next year.

To Carl's argument: he underestimates our depth which is the reason we won this series. The worth of a team doesn't rest wholely on their starting five, there are other factors. In a long tough series depth is a huge factor, and Carl just dismisses it. Our second unit scored like 50 points tonight. The clips have no real depth and it hurt them badly.

Another factor Carl dismisses is playoff experience. We aren't the same team we were last year. We're young, but we've got plenty of guys with playoff experience. Brew, Smoove, Terry, Ariza...all vets, all new additions with playoff experience to add to Harden and Howard, who also have a lot of playoff experience. I don't think last year's team could come back down 3-1. The clips have less vet big game experience And they didn't have the discipline and cool to close us down.
