The Clippers are better and more talented than the Rockets. The Clippers lost because 1) they choked horribly, and 2) Kevin McHale is a great coach.

the clippers got blown off the court in 4 out of 7 games, including the final 3 games. you need to admit you were wrong.

I don't understand why people think the Clippers so highly. To me, they are the most overrate team in NBA, with overrated coach, and the players. There is a reason they couldn't get to the conference final with all these hyped players & coaches.

I picked the Rockets in 6.

They have three good players and that's it, have suffered from terrible roster management for years. Having three great guys and the rest being scrubs does not make you more talented than a team with two stars and a deep, talented bench.

Although he is right about one thing.

The Clippers did choke horribly in Game 6 and we just took advantage like kings without Harden playing much in the end

The Clippers also had a 19 point lead in the 3rd quarter in Game 6 and (IIRC) a 14 point lead with 7 minutes left before collapsing. The Rockets were the underdogs according to all the sports books in Game 7 even after the Game 6 win.

The Clippers really are a more talented roster who just failed to show up when needed.

sorry, but this is just stupid. by your faulty logic, the 1995 suns were better than the 1995 rockets too. and that team had to barely win games to get past the suns. the rockets blew the paper clips off the court the final 3 games. to keep repeating that the clips are "better and more talented" is just plain stubborn and ridiculous.

A team that CHOKED off a 3-1 series lead and then a 19pt lead late in the 3rd qtr of a close out gm is still the better team?

Dude put the crack pipe down as you're making no sense.

    SCOREBOARD never lies!!!

Sometimes, the underdog wins. This is why we talk about things like "upset" and "dark horse" and "underdog" in sports. Luck and variance in performance are a part of the game.

Don't get on Carl. He has a solid record of smart posts in this forum. And he wasn't wrong here. The Clippers at their best were better than us at our best. They just couldn't keep it up for 14 games. Credit goes to our guys for sticking it out and making them earn that 4th win. In the end, it turned out they couldn't. Effort and heart and endurance are as important as anything else in deciding a series. So we move on.

'underdog' is a perception before the game is played. we have the results now, and the clips got blown off the court in 4 out of 7 games, including the last 3, including a 49-18 beatdown in the last 15min on their homefloor. maybe what you meant to type was that the clips roster is better looking to you than the rockets roster. then i would actually believe this nonsense from your side.
