You know the NBA is a joke this year when the Warriors and Hawks are #1 seeds.

    Rockets will beat them.

Best chance for winning a title is this year with teams regressing all around.

Except that the Celtics didn't win 67 games in a stacked Western Conference, and they weren't ranked #2 in offense and #1 in defense.

I don't get why people are so salty about this team. First they said this team couldn't sustain their early season performance. After they got way ahead of everyone, they said they couldn't win in the playoffs. Then after they swept the Pelicans, they said Grizzlies would give them nightmares. Now they won the series, people are saying even if they win it all this year, they are still not a great team.

    LOL @ the backpaddling.

Well one thing for sure. I hope you guys are right now that we are playing them.

I root for the Warriors, only because they are local, so I don't consider myself a fan. Looking at it objectively, I think they have gotten super lucky. The Clippers would've been the 'hurdle' team that they had to get over, but not they don't even have to play them. The East is a joke. Barring injury, I honestly don't see how anyone can beat them 4 times in 7 games...

I don't remember any of that... GSW have been the media darlings since the first couple months of the season.

not really. there are a ton in the media who think the warriors are "just a jump shooting team" that will go nowhere.

every stats guy loves the warriors though.

No, they didn't. But they did win 66 games, also with a double digit average margin. And they were ranked #1 in the league in defense by a decent margin and they won 25 of their 30 games against the tougher Western conference.

The Clippers would have been the easier matchup for Golden State, Draymond guards Blake better than anyone, the results wouldn't have been blowouts but predictable as the Clippers aren't really dynamic or deep enough.

At full strength a Houston series would be a coin flip with Golden State, with our injuries, especially Beverley in this matchup, it'd be uphill, but Houston can be very random, and random is bad for the more talented team.

If the Rockets beat the Warriors and go on to win the championship this season, it'd make my life.

Absolutely it'll take down my three most hated teams. Taking down curry and draymond... I really hate draymond

    Personally for me:
    A sweep vs the Heat
To Finally I witnessed a 50 point game in a Houston Uniform
Since I'm a ravens fan going up to Pittsburgh and knocking them off as well

Is being the best single season team a thing? That's a distinction I wouldn't care a lick about. They had a good season. And if they can beat the Rockets and Cavs (or Hawks) than they can be champions too. Big whoop. Does being one of the best single season teams mean they're better than the 2005 Spurs, or the 1995 Rockets, or the 1985 Lakers, or the 1975 Warriors? Who knows. You can't tell.
