Cavs in 6. LeBron and Kyrie can reach levels of play that no Hawk can ascend to.

Not having him making High school coach rookie mistakes like asking for timeouts when there is none left for starters.

LeBron trying to go to his 5th straight Finals...smh

    The East is awful.

If Lebron can take a team to the Finals with no Kevin Love, a injured Kyrie Irving, and a bunch of scrubs, and a scrub coach in the first year...how could LeBron ever miss a Finals appearance for the rest of his life?

I actually think his supporting case is at least as good as he had with the Heat. Mosgov, Shumpert, and Tristan Thompson are hardly scrubs.

People are completely disrespecting the Hawks. The Hawks Wiz series was actually pretty good basketball. LeBron is the best, but Cavs are offensively challenged right now. They've scrapped their sets and have reverted to old school LeBron domination hoops while everyone else spaces or crashes. This series should be more of a coin flip.

I don't get what the fixed Finals date has to do with the ECF starting Wednesday instead of Tuesday. The Rockets end up with a single day break because for some reason they have to start the WCF before the ECF. And from what I remember off of NBAtv, the whole WCF will be one day breaks from game 1 until game 7 if necessary.

This is the same lazy argument peddled by ESPN and their cronies to try to get Mark Jackson Blatt's job. Yes, Blatt messed up on that one, but one mistake doesn't discredit everything he has done as the Cavs coach. Do LeBron's awful turnovers and 10% 3pt shooting make him a bad player. Judging an entire body of work by one mistake is just straight up lazy. How about the other things that he has done, like:

    1. Getting Love and Irving to play defense for the first time in their career.
    2. Integrating Mozgov, JR, and Shumpert seamlessly in the middle of the season and getting all three of them to play the best basketball of their career, leading them to the best record in the NBA since those three came in.
    3. Going 15-1 against the West during that span.
    4. Playing Tristan Thompson and Dellavedova heavy minutes during the RS despite constant criticism from the media and fans - those two players ended up giving him the series against Chicago, and no way they do that without him developing their game the way he did.
    5. Taking a team without Love, with Irving injured to the point of being a liability, and with LeBron playing the worst basketball of his career, and leading them to a deciding 4-2 victory including a massive blowout in the closeout game, while outcoaching Thibs every step of the way. And this is with a team that had no depth to begin with.
    6. And when LeBron is not fatigued and pounding the ball for 20 seconds on possessions, the Cavs' ball movement is a thing of beauty.
    7. Also, he turned the Cavs from a team that was supposed to struggle on defense to a top-10 defense in the second half of the RS, and an elite defensive team in the playoffs (again, despite missing 1.5 of their big three on a team that lacks depth).

I could go on, but those who want to discredit Blatt will rationalize their hate anyway. If you don't believe me, go to the Cavs forums and you'll see that the vast majority of Cavs fans are ecstatic with the job that Blatt is doing. Contrast that with the constant b****ing about McHale on this site and maybe that will tell you something.

    Ok...what is THAT? Bandana? Wtf?

Really? I thought wiz-atlanta was bad quality basketball but crazy with exciting end games. Atlanta also hasnt played so well so far. Korver has been super terrible and teague is afraid to attack and step it up.
If the hawks want to win, coz they can win , they have to play their good basketball. The cavs did play and clicked well at times the hawks not so.

I don't watch or read BSPN and I know Blatt before you or any other cav fans have. I watched him over here in Europe for years.
And I don't need to rationalise anything. If MY teams rookie coach at that stage of the playoffs with the season on the line made such a mistake, I would want him fired. No excuses.
Also in realcavsfans people have an inferiority complex somehow.
God hates Cleaveland? I'm foreigner so I don't know.
