Short of committing a crime, the 1993-1995 Rockets are more-or-less immune from criticism in my book. Certainly not this sort of petty nonsense. I feel the same way about Clyde. Sure, he is not the best announcer, but he has earned a wide degree of latitude in my book, due to his past heroics for this team.

Understood. Leaning towards "Goodbye Kenny Smith" at this point.

F Kenny Smith. He wasn't a fan but now he is going to start saying we? Cheer for them if you want but you don't get to suddenly starting acting like you are a part of the team again now that they are successful again.

Cassell has a bigger impact on this game then kenny.
Not coincidence that Paul is more aggressive on the offense.

kenny just being honest. i dont see nothing wrong with whst he said or did. plus i feel it is true that the rockets have been hard to watch at times since the championship years.

some need to have some respect for a championship team member, too.

    maybe its just me...

Perhaps Tinman was trying to say "Jesus IS Christianity"

Well, following that logic, Kenny Smith IS Clutch City.

This is like when fools think James Hetfield was selling out heavy metal cause he was wearing shorts and got a haircut.

Kenny is whack. He rode the coattails of Olajuwon, Maxwell, Elie, Horry, Thorpe, etc. He wouldn't have a career with TNT now if it wasn't for those two championships. Also, how much more bow-legged is this dude gonna get?

Not everybody gets to be the top banana in their careers. But Kenny was a pretty important piece on those teams, and I still maintain that the second championship may not have happened if not for his magical performance in Game 1.

No kidding he wouldn't have a TV career if not for the fact he won two championships. That's as obvious as saying no one would pay attention to Donald Trump if he weren't a billionaire.
