Lol, theres NO WAY Phillies trade hammels with a top prospect with mlb ready prospects. Have you seen the rumors for what their asking for?
What they are asking for now and what they get in the middle of July for a struggling, aging, expensive ace are two totally different things.
No thanks, it's cool, I don't' give a ****. I don't play fantasy tradeball. If the Stros want to trade for somebody, they have the goods to do it. Whether they want to give up those goods is another story.
There's no way the Astros trade for Cueto with his huge contract upcoming. Unless the Phillies come off their high horse we aren't trading for Hamels either. We will go for a cheap Lohse type, or maybe a guy like Kazmir who we would feel good about re-signing.
He's at it again.

ANOTHER GRAND SLAM for Jon Singleton. Who cares what Singleton is doing at AAA, or how hot he is. He will eventually get called back up, and we'll see if he can hit MLB pitching. So far he's shown that he's unable to do so. I hope that he's able to figure it out!
Who cares? I care. He has missed a lot of time, had to make radical lifestyle changes and battled depression. His performance in AAA is huge.
Obviously his performance in AAA is huge. They're NOT paying him TEN MILLION $$$ to tear up minor league pitching. They gave him that with the hope that he can do it at MLB, which again he's shown he's NOT able to do thus far. I also said I hope he figures it out, because if he doesn't he'll be a huge bust.
Not worried about $10,000,000. That isn't enough to really impact the Astros payroll or ability to compete. I hope he figured it out too, but if he doesn't; he won't be a huge bust. He was never even a top 20 prospect in baseball... and prospects bust all the time.
