In that case we re emotionally fragile if you let the refs take you out. Worse compound it with frustrations fouls.
    Not ready for prime time.

Not only does it change momentum but it takes away possessions which while the Clippers continue to score - Its like Free Possessions for them.

losing a game doesn't mean a team isn't ready for "prime time." mostly it just means the other team is better.

I agree with you. We are a very immature team without a true leader to keep heads cool. That's something I've been saying we've needed, going back to the Dallas series, but people still called me a hater at the time for pointing out how easy our team loses composure.

Regardless, that doesn't absolve the refs from jobbing this game.

stop blaming the refs. they aren't making the rockets miss 65% of their shots.

You have every right to believe this. But then you have to thank the refs for screwing the Spurs in the last game of the regular season to give the Rockets the 2 seed. By the way, I watch more NBA than you due to gambling reasons and jumping within the circle straight up is not always a foul at all. But we can agree to disagree. Maybe you're right. Maybe the NBA instructs the refs who to favor every game.

I'm tired of this genius team from top to bottom get victimized by the conspiracy. I'm going to go monitor the federal troops in Bastrop to stop the invasion.

Now that the game is tied , how huge are those possessions the Refs gave the Clips ?

Nope , they still gave the Clips several possessions which resulted in points .... The Clips just choked that one away.

It's a combination of all of the above. Clippers did not get the soft fouls they were getting in the first three quarters. Refs swallowed their whistles and allowed the players to play, likely to call less fouls and get the game over sooner than later.

How does that change Griffin intentionally fouling Howard , the ref not calling it , DJ getting a spectacular block turning into points on the other end ?!

How does that change DJ elbowing Howard in the back of the head not being called but Dwight being called for a tech for pushing him off of him ?!

How does that change Barnes not getting a flagrant or Griffin a tech when he wrapped Harden up yet Howard gets a flagrant when he goes for a block on Griffin who flops. Or the two or three other instances where Barnes & Big Baby have all but tackled Howard & no flagrant ....

Jason Terry & Corey Brewer the only players in the entire playoffs fined for flopping .... One of those on an obvious foul.

Those possessions are gone , you don't get them back. They just woke up and found a way to steal this game.

    Smoov took over.

Why you shoot so many threes?
Smith: Cuz they can't touch me.

Maybe our complaining helped. The fouls stopped after everyone started complaining about the free throw difference on twitter.

How about giving credit to these changes:

    Howard guarding Griffin great.
Smith on DeAndre and helping everywhere.
Terry, Brewer, and Ariza chasing and scrambling on D like mad men.

They also stopped holding the ball in the 4th on offense other than Smith who went into superstar clutch mode.

Referees didn't do us any favours tonight, so glad we responded by just hounding them and fouling hard. Dwight did let himself mentally check out for a bit, but I understand and he came back like a true champ, composed. Refs swallowed the whistle in the 4th, because we played very aggressive but if you don't whine, just play the game and play hard, they will let that go in games like this so good job by us adjusting.
