long time man. you one of those rich early adopter folks. you get on the 4k bandwagon, then you need new monitor, motherboard, gfx card, processors, tv, game console, faster internet without data caps etc. i think hd became mainstream in 2009 and 2010 so that was like over 10 years. 4k came out just recently so maybe by 2025 it'll be mainstream.
also i think for most ppl hd is good enough. 4k is really only good if you sitting close to the screen so unless the economy becomes really good or 4k becomes really cheap ppl will just stick to regular hd.
prob right but perfect for people that like large format screens for computer use. I am waiting for true 4k projectors to come down in price. I feel that's where you'll see the biggest jump. As far as 4k, I remember when people said dvds were good enough and here we are. :grin:
