^ Honestly, I'm down for the old Bud at a low-ish salary. He finished the year very strong and we NEED some knockdown shooters

Ha I didn't even know Pat was still playing basketball anymore. I thought he would've exclusively focused on his baseball career after Notre Dame got knocked out of the NCAA tournament. Anyways, I love this kid. He's probably not going to get drafted or play one second in the NBA, but he's got heart and grit like no other. I can't wait to watch him break into the Major Leagues. He has a fan for life.

Interesting...I'd buy a late second rounder for him or sign a covington deal, considering he's not on mock draft board now.

Some volleyballer that I am not excited about. He could have won the Dunk contest and that would be the highlight of his career

TBH with you, we need more Horrys or Steve Kerrs.... big playoff shooters than regular season shooters and borderline scrubs

No offense to Bud because I like the guy but that comparison is not exactly a complement. You would hope a guy like this could surpass Buds accomplishments considerably with consistent health.

I don't think he's likely to be drafted. If he's smart he'll choose baseball over basketball. He is a legitimate MLB prospect but would probably end up overseas if he sticks to basketball.

That's some nutty athleticism from a white boy. On top of that he's a 3pt specialist, shooting 42% from 3 on 250 attempts in 38 games this season.

That kind of combination of athleticism and shooting is a hell of a duo. Hard to see him not have some type of success at the nba level if he has his head screwed on straight. Wouldn't mind picking him up with our 2nd rd pick at all.

This guy can play in our team, he is an elite shooter and he can defense.
I hope Morey can draft him buying a second round

I believe I read that we have $500,000 to spend, perhaps we should use that to acquire a late pick to grab him.

Everyone says we need to add a knockdown shooter (42.3% on 5.8 3PA). Plus, he's crazy athletic (44 in. max vert) and is a great rebounder/defender at his position.

Why do you compare him to Budinger? They play nothing alike. And Budinger, unlike Connaughton, is not known for his defense.
