People insulting Mac are falsely blaming him for the lack of Rockets success. He never had a good support cast when he was healthy... Tired of this broken record of ignorance.

The most amazing thing here, is hearing him talk about how he wishes he played for the Spurs...

    Lamarcus should be listening...

That's only one team though. T-Mac has NEVER gotten out of the first round for any team where he was a star or franchise player for. The only time he got out of the first round was on the bench or injured.

Not to mention that his injury on that team help that team get to next round because his bad defense and inefficient shot selection was removed from the court. Allowing Yao to take more shots and a better defender to get more minutes.

It's easier to blame failure on one person than understanding the whole picture. I think their reaction is caused by a lack of understanding of essential things like teamwork, matchups, overall roster quality, coaching, etc

Having one clear scapegoat is comforting if you want to hide from the whole picture and truth.

That's fine, as long as none of the insights involve how to win in the NBA, since he doesn't actually know anything about that.

This is only true if it is a one time occurrence and it isn't. T-Mac's playoff failures span his entire lifetime as a star player. Like I have always asked T-Mac fans, which other player that was supposedly as gifted and talented and "amazing" as T-Mac has had a less fulfilling playoffs career. I can understand not ever getting a ring as tons of stars have not. T-Mac's failures in the playoffs is MUCH MORE DAMING than not getting a ring. He has never lead a team out of the FIRST ROUND, let alone getting a ring.

These are the replacements for Simmons and Rose? Terrible. The guy was like a Simmons clone, the way he spoke and his voice. The girl said "like" way too many times.

Tmac made 25 million the year he quit on the rockets. They didn't pay him that much so he can quit, be unhealthy and lose every playoff series.

Seriously some of you think he had a successful rockets career are in denial.

Its also insulting to moses Malone and hakeem when people say mcgrady wasn't a failure. Their standards are lower than dirt.

You guys are hypocrites by insulting harden and saying he has so much responsibility and tmac didn't. Tmac had the same.

In some ways I'm more respectful of him because i knew his mission was to win a title, but he failed miserably.

I find it funny that during a playoff run, there is still time to blast T-Mac. He sits next to Les during the games. Let it go people!

I would let it go if he didn't go around trying to take credit and brag on a team he quit on (and picked to lose) taking the Lakers to 7 games. Now he picked against us again. I think his pick to win the finals each year is whoever the Rockets are playing.

Saying harden should drive more? Harden drives a million times* more than Mac ever did.

Saying he didn't have anyone? Yao was better than him.

    *Look it up.

Hakeem sits next to les too. Nobody criticizes his tenure here. Also the highest level of rep is called hakeem.

    I wonder why?

Tracy needs to be Harden's mentor.

Sneaky good interview. At first I was wondering why they have these kids asking questions but then I was like....pretty insightful.

I don't really think he took any personal shots at Harden. All he said was that Harden needs to stop being passive and get up more shots during the game.
