nice!! I was really thinking Singleton was going to bounce back this year & be a big part of our club. Wishful thinking of course but it's great to see him doing so well. Hopefully his head is in it & he really wants to come up and help this club.
Agreed. Oh and he now leads all of MiLB with 11 HRs passing former Fresno player, Preston Tucker. My favorite thing about Singleton right now is his 16.1% walk rate and only a 20.4% strikeout rate. He put up similar rates last year though and yet he struck out 37% of the time when he got called up, so I hope he fixed that.
Obie is likely headed for the DL maybe Woj comes back up. Singleton has certainly earned a promotion. The Astros aren't gonna drop Carter or Gattis just yet. It brings us back to the 3 for 2 positions conundrum we has before the season. Plus who gets demoted, you need a backup infielder so Villar or some other player of that type has to be here.
