I found Grodd underwhelming Still trying to figure out Reverse Flash's end game I think next week is the season finally In a battle of Speedsters. . . I don't see where a guy with a bow and arrow will do much Even the Bizarro Iron Man won't offer much Rocket River
Best as I can figure out I mean it is HIS facility . . .and they have NO evidence they can use against him Why is he hiding at all? Rocket River
That was a lame episode overall, except when IRIS popped into Star Labs to confront Barry and the whole team on the Flash. Grodd looks good cgi-wise, but the whole I am a Gorilla that controls minds was underwhelming plot line. They should have gone with Grodd goes ape shiat on everyone first. And then locked in on he's getting smarter for a smoother transition to into his development.
The security at STAR Labs is awful. Seems like anyone can walk into a superhero lair. Heck, if they knew, they could release all the meta-humans if they wanted! I thought Iris's acting was pretty bad. Too much robotic standing with weak facial expressions and unbelievable outrage. My lady, who doesn't watch superhero shows, remarked many times during the episode how soap opera-like the show was. Nice job, CW. Some nice pwnage moments from last night, too. Joe offering Grodd the banana was lulzy as well as Wells pwning Eddie with his fortune telling. Grodd vs. Flash climax was a bit underwhelming to conclude by deus ex train, and then he goes all King Kong at the end. A weaker episode than the previous ones, but hopefully the finale blows up.
Did anybody catch what Gidden was about to say about the being a founding member of and bary cut her off.
There's a new Justice League like show coming with the ATOM from Arrow as the leader. DC wont allow Arrow and Flash to do anything with the big stuff so it can be on the big screen. They do reference a lot of the big stuff though.
I don't know why they are giving Grodd speech patterns like the Hulk. He is supposed to be not just intelligent, but super intelligent.
They said that he was getting smarter and smarter in the show. He will probably be full comic book Grodd by season 5.
I think the writers expect us to connect the dots - Iris might have security clearance at STAR labs because 1) she's connected to everyone there and 2) her dad's a cop who's worked with STAR labs before. I don't know why everyone is so hung up on this thing. If Iris wasn't going to confront Barry at STAR labs, she would have done it somewhere else. Yeah, Iris' acting was pretty wooden. But they had to address the Iris - Barry relationship at some point before the season ended - now, with that out of the way, they can focus on Wells' endgame for the remainder of the season.
These small things don't take me out of the show or anything, just stuff to think about. Why would Iris have security clearance when they were trying to keep Barry's powers a secret? She just walked in and Barry was in his flash suit. Come on now.
This threw me off as well I thought this would be the finale I don't see how next week will be anything but anti climatic Rocket River
It's all part of the plan. I suspect Eddie will have a bigger role in the finale. Seems like Wells was able to turn him.
Snart, not Stark. And yes, it seems they basically have no security at Star Labs, everybody just walks right in.
