Sure we'll never "know" for certain, but all of the evidence we have points to Martin being the attacker. We know he was already at his house when he saw a "creepy cracker" following him, he decided to go confront him instead of going inside his home. We have testimony that Martin attacked Zimmerman and there were wounds from a physical assault. Martin had no such wounds, only the gunshot wounds. There's no evidence at all that Zimmerman attacked Martin, only evidence that Martin attacked Zimmerman. I mean, it would kind of require someone to suspend disbelief to think that Martin goes to confront Zimmerman and Zimmerman starts a fight without ever hitting Martin only to have Martin get the better of Zimmerman and then have Zimmerman shoot Martin. That just doesn't make sense happening that way....if Zimmerman was looking to start the trouble, why wouldn't he just pull out the gun from the start? We really shouldn't even be talking about this anymore, it's not a terribly interesting case, idiots end up dead all the time when they assault the wrong person. Given his violent tendencies, we can all hope that one day Zimmerman assaults the wrong person and ends up in the same condition as Martin.
And since we don't know for sure that this troubled racist young man who has a bag pack full of burglary tools attacked first or not, it must mean that Zimmerman is guilty and must live the rest of his life in fear? Great logic.
How do you he was racist you don't but what we do know is there was a want to be cop with a gun following a kid walking from the store with skittles whom may have or may not have started the fight.
Well we do know that right before Martin went after Zimmerman, he made a racial slur....if he was a white man making a racial slur against a black man, wouldn't you assume he was racist?
To play devil's advocate, Zimmerman could have swung and missed or given Martin a hard shove. Don't know what happened, but no injuries doesn't mean he had to have started the physical confrontation.
True, but my point was that there was absolutely no evidence whatsoever that the commonly known story was a lie. Basically if you REALLY want to believe that Martin was some kind of victim, you can probably convince yourself of that, but it's not based on anything solid at all. It's basically a conspiracy theory.
So Zimmerman who appears to be an all around azz**** is beating women and out causing trouble because he's living in fear from killing Martin? Great logic.
He had household tools like a screwdriver. He didn't have a bag full of burglary tools. That's just what the right wing media called it. But apparently you are ready to convict him even though he wasn't arrested let alone didn't go to trial. Let's stick to the facts and ignore the hype. It's like saying that Zimmerman was walking around with a container full of murder tools the night he happened to kill Martin.
Both sides. Love it when the Zim crew would play innocent (like now). Can't believe people are still trying to defend that scumbag/thug.
This x100. They still haven't learned from their mistakes. They rushed to judgment without letting the facts and trial play out.
Do they have Martin calling Zimmerman a racial slur on tape, or are we just taking the outstanding citizen Zimmerman's word for it?
It was the testimony of Rachel Jeantel, the girl he was on the phone with immediately prior to him going after Zimmerman......probably part of a larger conspiracy though right?
Fair enough, I just wanted to make it abundantly clear that it was his friend who testified that he made the racial slur (which she claimed wasn't actually a racial slur) right before going after Zimmerman. My point was that if a white man saw a black man that he thought was following him, then referred to that black man using the N word before going after him, people would assume the white man was a racist.
If a white guy was being stalked by a black guy, I don't think I'd put a lot of weight on what racial slurs he might use. I think victims of stalking are usually just scared of what the stalker's intentions are, even if they are racist. Not sure why you think this argument is such a winner.
Total BS. TOTAL BS. When there was a possibility that Zimmerman had called Trayvon Martin black or something in his description, the immediate prevailing theory was that he killed him because of racial bias. If a white dude was on the phone with a friend and said "Man, this N****r is following me!" and then got off the phone and a fight ensued where the black person was beat up and ultimately shot the white guy, people here would instantly start with the "the white racist attacked the black guy and got shot in self defense" narrative.
So you're comparing the N word to the word "cracker?" We should demand that all crackers be removed from the shelves and demand people never eat crackers and cheese again... Funny how you bring up that the girl said Martin said "a creepy azz cracker" was watching him... But you leave out the part that the girl said she heard Martin telling Zimmerman to "get off of me" when you bring up Martin attacking Zimmerman.
