ClutchFans Game Thread: Clippers @ Rockets 5/12/2015 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 5)

Harden will be fighting this bug for two weeks. There is a "bronchitis" virus going around in the Houston area. Our family of two is on week four of this bug. <cough cough>

The only good thing about it is that you can breathe easily through the nose, but the chest coughing is a beast.

 

Issue with this is that they need to be able to get refs attention to call the foul and also make sure the Clippers aren't in the act of shooting or do not start shooting when trying to get the refs attention for the and 1.

 

Not sure I follow?

When we got a couple early steals for easy fast break points, I knew this game was going to be very different. I didn't think it would be a blowout, but I knew we showed up. This team is incredibly talented. If everyone plays so-so games (shooting 50% from the field/33% from 3pt line/66% from the FT line) we dominate. We are that good.

You talk a big game but frankly you don't know what the hell your talking about. As EVERYBODY has said and I mean EVERYBODY, we played with EFFORT tonight. All that has been mentioned is our energy and effort. Man, don't be a joke. Again, show me your pregame prediction ? Yeah...that's what i thought.

Make the change to the rule to 5 minutes at the end of every quarter and maybe it changes. If you don't, you as the league, are telling the players to learn to shoot. Both are okay. The blame is on both, the solution is on both.

 

I honestly thought they were going t lose big again. I mean they could have very easily came in an laid down. Extremely proud of the guys tonight! Hats off to H and H and Ariza. Machale made some mighty fine adjustments this game and we actually gave effort and committed on defense.

I don't want to give my self hope as this was most likely just delaying the inevitable. But let's go Houstonnnnn game 6!

 

You're right....I am celebrating ! IF This team goes into LA on Thursday, we could be back in Houston playing for it all. If the game that only played ONE HALF in this series shows up, we'll get the hell beat out of us again.

Dude, seriously... celebrate and stop trash talking. The Rockets won with their back to the wall. That's friggin awesome. We blew a team out. Be grateful or continue to be a fan of something other than the Rockets. If you are a real rockets fan, you're celebrating this victory and hoping for 2 more.

 

im unhappy after a win? what're you basing that off of? take it easy yo, i hoped and cheered us for a game 5 win and i'll continue to do the same game 6...

i just dont deal with extremes and calling mchale "mcfail" which is actually pretty offensive to a family name.. moreover, i recognize baketball players are not static and can reignite at any point so go Clutch City
