There's not much to do now. You cant do trades and you cant have Jones out of the roster and have another new PF.
    Good. Relax.
One day this ridiculous in house war of Jones/DMO will finally end and peace will return.

This is not about Jones/DMo for me. DMo is out. No sense in going there. This thread is about posters here who don't know what playing hard is apparently. And my complaints are about a coach that stedfastly refuses to see what's wrong with this team.

There is something that can be done. Rather there was something that could have been done. And that is/was to get the right matchups in place. Terrence has no chance against Blake. Zero. Zilch. No chance. We've known that since last season. So the logical adjustment when we've got Josh Smith who is very plainly the better defender is to put Josh Smith on Blake and give Terrence at least a chance of being successful by letting him come off the bench and matchup against Big Baby or Hawes. And that would give this Rocket team a chance.

Now it's most likely too little too late. Firstly, I seriously doubt if McHale is going to make the proper adjustments at this stage. He's had a whole 2 seasons to evaluate and make adjustments. And he has made only one...that being when he benched Jones in favor of Asik against LaMarcus in last year's playoffs. That was the right move and we played them to a draw in the following 4 games. But it was still too late because McHale let 2 games get away before he did anything.

Subsequent to that series he's gone right back to Terrence except when Terrence was hurt. Now, it's even worse. He's dug in on Terrence and now we're down 3-1. Going to be extremely difficult to win 3 in a row on these guys even with the adjustment. There's a decent chance we're done tonight and if we do survive tonight the odds are extremely long that we get past them in LA one more time to get to Game 7.

I sure hope we make it. But that's what we're down to here. Hoping and wishing for a miracle.

Don't tell who, but guess who leads the team in +/- in the 1st half of Game 5 - Terrance Jones

This is the second playoff round that Tjones has gotten just totally abused. Put in a legit pf next to Howard and we win this series and sweep the mavs easily.
