ClutchFans Game Thread: Clippers @ Rockets 5/12/2015 (Playoffs Round 2, Game 5)

Well after another blowout tonight at least we can get back to the most exciting part of any Houston sports fan: the off season!

Cue up the Cyberx thread!

 

Think about this for just a moment. Game 5 is a game the Rockets SHOULD win despite the lackluster last couple of games. So we SHOULD get a Game 6. If the Rockets were to stun the Clippers in LA then Game 7 at home would be a game the Rockets SHOULD win as Game 7 home teams have historically had a huge edge. So really, the Rockets are an upset away from the WCF. I don't care what te spread is tonight, this is a game where the Clippers are underdogs. The public has bet heavily on the Clips, thus pushing the spread on their favor.

All it takes is one great performance for the Rockets to get their confidence and mojo back. Never lose faith.

 

I'm blessed enough to get off work early to go to the game!

While that might be true, unfortunately the way they have been playing this series, they probably couldn't even beat the other LA team

i dont think passion, energy shouldnt come from the coach (doesnt mean they cant) and ultimately its the players who have to make plays, but mchale as a coach seems clueless, slow and as lethargic at times.

The Clippers are the Cubs of the NBA. They've never made it to the Semi-Finals. Don't let them get there Rockets! It's not meant to be for them.
