If someone comes into this thread without having watched the latest episode then they deserve to be spoiled for being stupid.
Look im not one of those guys that love to tell everyone whats gonna hapoen but...if your dam life is so frigging hyped on a frigging TV show that you get pissed when someone reveals a sliver of information, and then furthermore you feel the urge to go on a message board to discuss it....then get your frigging act together and watch the damn episode when it airs. If its that important to you, watch the effing episode and stop moaning and pissing at people who saw it. The world doesnt revolve around you
So Westoros represents Europe and Essos represents Asia it seems. Was it me as does Valyria look like SE Asia with the jungle and architecture? It's not really important, just thought it was interesting.
the maester is Spoiler a targaryen, one of which is rumored to be Jon's mother. it's totally possible he would know if that theory is true. and i believe Jon Aryn was speaking about the lannisters seed not the starks with his observation.
A pet peeve of mine is when people use spoiler tags without any indication of why they are using them in their post. If people want to post spoilers for the latest episode, fine. But without that being made clear in the unspoilered portion of the post, how can anyone know? Especially for people who have seen the latest episode but would like to avoid spoilers for future episodes, not knowing what why a spoiler tag was used means they have to just assume the worst. Personally, I'd prefer if people didn't use the spoiler tag here at all, and refrain from discussing spoilers for future episodes. Would make it much easier and more pleasant to follow the discussion here.
Jon was speaking of Baratheons About the Maester Spoiler I know he is a Targaryen but he is still 100. Do you think a 100 yr old relative know about as b*stard from 15 yrs ago? Esp since he has basically been AT BEST estranged from the family some 15 years but they make it seem like closer to 50 Rocket River
Basically the book readers ruined everything, many seasons ago. Now many of us don't trust anything. Don't blame it on us. If Breaking Bad was a book series, same thing would have happened. But since there was no books...what you call "Theories" was fine, because no one knew. But since there are Books out, how are we supposed to trust what you cal "certain theories" from spoilers...like some things are known as trivial because you say so, and others arent. What? we are supposed to know that Moes is cool about theories vs spoilers, but others could be mixing them? Sheesh...how hard is it to just talk about what you've seen. How is that not simple.
Totally agreed. This is my first season to be watching in real-time, and thus my first time trying out the GoT thread... This thing is a Disaster. Clearly it seems the spoiler-etiquette war has been waging on for awhile, but it is also clear that there has been no resolution. Here's an another attempt... If you are going to use a spoiler tag, provide the following info first: 1. WHO ARE YOU?? a) Non-book reader b) Book reader 2. WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?? a) Information and/or speculation based purely on the TV show b) Information and/or speculation based on the material outside the TV show* *And then ask yourself, "Why am I posting this in the non-Book Reader's thread anyway?"... Please, this is very simple. Explain what's under that magical spoiler button, or no normal non-book reader is going to read your post.
Book reader. Spoiler. Spoiler read the books... There are only two books now since most has been covered in the show
You can find them on youtube. This channel appears to have the official ones There are plenty of free youtube to mp3 converters online as well
