This guy is a ****ing crook in terms of notoriety.. He's got no post game whatsoever... He did the Pistons give him that big contract when he's got no game as a PF or SF. He's nothing...

Agreed. Although I would love to see Smith back for the right price. It will be tough to find a bench player of his caliber.

josh can ball, no question about it. but he's a one trick pony and too many boneheaded plays from him. vet's min (ball park figure), yeah. any price tag significantly higher than that, i'd be very much reluctant. but i doubt other teams will let us have him at the vets min.

Corey Brewer putting the ball on the floor results in 1 of 2 things:

    - dribbles into traffic and loses the ball
    - throws up wild shot and missed badly

    Brewer is playing well??

What games are you watching? Every time he checks in, I see him give us wide-open threes, fouling 3point shooters EVERY game, turn the ball over, throw up bricks, reaching in and getting burned for open layups.

it's beyond words how appalling he has been this series.

a bit embarrassing, no question. but least he's trying to dunk and lift the team spirit. unlike josh smith's hook shots and harden's (cough cough~) fine step-back j's.

While this is an ugly stat, he is at least trying and hustling, unlike other Rockets.

Brewer is doing what he can but unfortunately is having to help out all over the place and give up open 3s. On offense, our lack of movement and a distributor/creator PLUS inability to make shots anywhere on the court are killing us.

The Rockets are a combined -68 to the Clippers in 4 games, Brewer is actually helping with a +/- of only -47 lol.

What was he doing well on Mavs championship team? He played 23 minutes entire playoffs in 10/11

Actually no. He's only played 54% of his available minutes. So when he's been we've hit the accelerator downhill.

Loved Brewer for the Rockets in the regular season. His high energy off the bench was a great jolt for the team. The problem is, that "energy advantage" that he brought in the regular season is neutralized in the playoffs because EVERYONE'S energy is amped.

Also, Brewer in the half court offense is being asked to do more than he should be with creating action off the dribble. He has to do that because of our lack of "2nd playmaker option." It just is not a good role for Brewer. Similar to Ariza's "first stint" with the Rockets.

I am fine with Brewer returning, but with a more defined role and him not having to play outside of it. Those that don't like Brewer and want him gone, what are the alternatives considering the cap situation?

He's 1-12 from 3 point range vs. LAC and he's the corner 3 man.

Doesn't account for the whole disparity, but that's huge.
