Howard hit the official with the ball after his 6th foul, earning an animated ejection despite the foul already being his 6th. It was malicious and the league may decide to end the Rockets' misery early.
It would be a mercy at this point. We're not winning this series. The only way it gets worse at this point is if Harden or Dwight tears some crucial ligament.
I doubt it, CP3 drew a tech for a similar incident in the spurs series but nothing else. Having said that, look forward to the entire team being on a short leash in terms of techs for game 6.
didnt watch the 2nd half but it looks like he just bounced the ball in the direction of the ref and he overreacted
If Dwight gets suspended I am sure Clippers will ask NBA to let him play, because Clippers love to humiliate Howard's team and see him miserable .
I was just looking at the Highlights... it summarizes the Series so well Chris Paul barely looking, lob pass to Deandre Jordan.....Howard is jumping high but cannot do anything other than looking (real helpless) in midair!
He got his 6th and fouled out. Then I thought he threw the ball back to the official who wasn't ready for it so it only looked like he was throwing the ball at said official. Not worth a one game suspension.
Yep I turned it off and started watching Modern Family reruns. I would much rather watch Sofia Vergara mumble about whatever it is she is mumbling about than that atrocity of a game. I switched back halfway through the 4th and they said Howard was ejected but showed no video. I saw we were down by 35 and just switched back.
I'll say it. Dwight Howard has all the talent you could ask for in the world but he is a dumb basketball player.
There is absolutely 0% chance that Howard is suspended when JR got only two games and Perkins and MDJ got none for actually harming other players with intent. 0% I was wondering why Howard got the tech and if it was the reason he was ejected because it didn't seem to me that he even fouled. And the commentators didn't know why he got the tech either.
Hope not. Didn't know he was ejected. Stopped watching in disgust midway through the third and decided to watch Game of Thrones instead while occasionally looking at ESPN gamecast (again, in disgust) This team's effort makes us almost unwatchable. What happened to pride?
That foul/tech was indicative of the officiating in the last two games. BS touch foul drawn by Blake, the Rockets get down on themselves for getting horrendous calls, then they dig themselves into an even deeper whole. Half this series was lost by the refs, the other half by self inflicted wounds and stupidity.
and when you think about that and add josh smith and javaris crittendon to that mix, that may have been the dumbest basketball team every assembled. the atlanta celtics should just disband because they don't teach basketball. those guys got by on raw talent. they received no coaching whatsoever.
