Clearly looks disinterested and now another disappointing way to end a series. Enjoy next year as your last year with Dwight, Rockets fans

i don't know why this is such a bad news. his knees are not gonna get better soon and he sure ain't gonna get younger as years go by. i love what he did for us in the postseason but we had a good run with him. as good as he is on the defensive end of the floor, we need more of an offensive presence from our big guys who could actually shoot some free throws and if we can get healthy, young decent big men instead of him, then so be it. wish him all the luck, but we could move on w/o any hesitation.

Wish we could keep Dwight and replace the Playoff Defector.

I don't see Dwight as disinterested. He's been the rockets best player the last two years in the playoffs. He even committed to taking a lesser role offensively after coming back from his knee injury seeing how Harden was dominating. He probably feels helpless and you can see it on his face after losses in the playoffs. I would love to see that from Harden. Although, if I'm being fair Harden is more even in his emotions.

Who's going to want him? Where does he fit in the current NBA landscape besides Houston? I think he likes it in Houston despite how far or close the Rockets are to a championship.

The nba has passed him by, just like Kobe and Melo have been a detriment to their teams with their midrange shot jacking this decade, the days of a no free throw, no jump shot big man as anything but a role player is over.

I'm afraid he won't opt out, because he sure as **** won't be worth what he's being paid that year.

    I don't think he's disinterested...getting outplayed..

Funny because Deandre Jordan looked up to Dwight...Deandre Jordan was probably this huge Rocket fan too...Deandre Jordan is destroying his childhood idols.

Lol are you serious? Dwight is still a star in the nba and the lg has definitely not passed him by. Put the crackpipe down buddy.

Meanwhile DeAndre goes off for 26/17 and we hack him to keep him from destroying us further. Yea the days of a no jump shot ft big man are totally dead.

GTFO, he's the best player our team. Now that he's not trying to be Hakeem in the post EVERY possession, he's been great... and when we HAVE fed him inside, he's looked much improved.

Are you suggesting DeAndre isn't a role player? Dwight is a role player now, he is not a star, he is far too limited on offense to ever be a star again.

No guys like Trevor Ariza are role players. When you getting well over 20 and 10 in the playoffs your a star.

dwight is averaging 16.7 points per game and shooting 40.9% at the free throw line in the playoffs so far. i don't think he is a role player, but he should be more of a third option than the first or second, in my opinion.

Hell no he's not a Role player. He's a game changer that should've been an All star this year and he's playing like he's a super star against us (and we're treating him like one desperately fouling to get him off the court).

There's certain players you hack strictly as strategy to gain possession (Capella) and then there's hacking as mercy to get them out like Shaq, Dwight and Jordan.

Dwight is folding on pressure, so couldn't care less if he comes back. Roll with Capela!
