Honestly I actually didn't watch the game just knowing what it would be like given the rest of the series.

And I have to say... What a great decision. I had a wonderful night. I had a few beers. Some good laughs with friends. Occasionally checked the score and laughed some more.

The Rockets are not good for our health guys. After game 3 I broke my remote, threw a chair and was an intolerable SOB to anyone who said a word to me.

It's time to stop taking this team so damn seriously. It's not good for our Health.

You realize we are in the toughest division of the toughest conference ever in NBA history? Our entire division went to the playoffs... There's no possible way what you say is true. If we were in shetty division, in the eastern conference

Yet the preceding series we had the best offense leading up to the second round.

Mavs are good, they had a historically good offense pre-Rondo. They can score look no other.

NBA is about matchups, Clippers are a terrible matchup.

Series woulda been different with Bev and Motie.

By a large margin at that.

Hopefully the Rox can snag Thibodeau.

McHale is a good dude, but he is no coach.

    At best, a commentator/consultant.

    i posted in another thread,

i've tried to ignore our pt differential all year long, especially when we finished as the 2nd seed. i kept telling myself, pt differential can be wrong, it's not 100% indicator.

well we finished at +3.4, clippers finished +6.6. It's clear their offense and defense combined is better than ours and the pt diff clearly shows that over 82 games. combine that fact with the fact that the clippers have the same record but couldn't catch GSW for the division and 2nd seed means even less. Just for the record, of the west playoff teams we only finished higher than NOP(+0.8), DAL (+2.9), and MEM (+3.2). MEM is the surprise here, especially given there current success against GSW (+10.1).

pt diff says we're probably the 5th or 6th best team in the west.

so to the OP, I'm not embarrassed at all. it's a bad matchup and the clippers are a much better team based on pt diff. what's happening is likely.

and to cheke, it's not just 3 games. it was 82 if we paid attention.

What happened to my team and who are those guys in Rocket uniforms? Ariza is the one cat that is busting it 110% of the time.

The Clips have gotten into our head and messed us up big time. This was the ultimate ass-whipping.

As for our last hurrah. I'm for starting Nick Johnson on JJ Reddick. He's absolutely broken our backs in these last two games. Let the kid get some more game experience.

Either we take the Voodoo to the Clips or they finish sticking the pins in our eyes and we start discussing what to do with Pick #18.

    Until the next game.

Its clear to me this team is a piece or 2 away. It doesnt have to be a superstar type eeither. I would go hard as possible after Lawson. Harden needs to play off the ball more. They need a guy who can control the game better than harden. If he doesnt go to the ft line, he's almost useless.

It's time for me to let go!!!

Houston Rockets fan since I was a kid watching Jordan and Hakeem. If the Rox lose this series it is time for me to stop watching. I supported this team, going to their games, spending money buying tickets but all i get is nothing. My reason is why would I spend/cheer/watching them if they do not care about us(The fans that supported them) I gave this Rox a chance when Yao The great wall retired. But all I see is sadness coming from a Rockets fan. I really miss Yao Ming, It feels that there's a chance winning; doesnt matter if its regular season nor playoffs. This guy gave everything he had and didnt give up at all, playing with fire, playing with intensity, playing with all his heart. If the rockets lose this series it is time for me to say goodbye and rather spend my time with my kids, something that will benefit me in the future. Man i really miss Yao lol. You might get mad at me or might agree with me but its cool. This is how I feel as a rox fan. When Yao Ming retired I actually gave up watching NBA.

Agreed! They need more talent at the PG position also Jones is just not good enough to finish against the Clippers athleticism. The Spurs would have been a better match up for the Rockets. The Clippers have too much athleticism and shooting for Houston.

Also the coaching is really getting exposed in this series. The way the coaches communicate to their players, game plans on offense and defense. The type of things that need to be driven home between October and March. As a true Rockets to me this is worse than the Lilard shot. Houston lost that series, but they never quit. Now they are quitting as a result of being confused and not having any plan on what to do. They are a very lost team and that has a lot to do with the coaching for the season and not just the series. For the love of god find a better way to play pick and role defense. Losing to Chris Paul and Blake Griffen as a team you can live with that, however JJ Reddick and Austin Rivers are the X factors that cannot be allowed to win games for the Clippers. In all honesty good coaching could win Houston this series, but time will tell just how good the Rockets coaching staff is. If we lose game 5 Mc Hale and the rest of the coaching staff should be fired!! Should win that game based on heart alone!!

It actually disappeared starting game 3 against Dallas. Only a few of us realized it. I tried to say we needed to play better defense and shouldn't be satisfied with merely outscoring the Mavs. I was called a hater.

Disappointed, sad, embarrassed... terrible end to the season, just depressing knowing that we'll never be contenders with this joke of a coach.

Also, please don't re-sign Josh Smith, he is terrible.

    Lol, probably not dude.

don't feel bad op, life had more things for us, I stopped watching from game 2 because 20 years of watching nba tells me this series is over, this team won't get anywhere as is now, so let's focus things in our life and forget about this disappointing team, never liked DH, never liked josh smith, had to support hem since they are here, hope team gets resembled better next season
